Did you decide on how big your city will be? I personally prefer to use straight, with modular. Since modular occupies the same size as the road of 32x32. I am using just 8 by 2, with 4 modulars and 4 plates of straight in front of it. Plan for extension, but no space It will be great if you space for everything, for me, I can only build my city in square. Not much I can do. 

hmm Those road plate comes in 2 difference pcs per pack (2 difference pack design).. depanding on yur city style.. if rectangle table i get the straight and curve plate.. if square table i get the juctions road plate

but due to RM is depreciate badly to euro, it not much different basically..
i got my 10232 for about rm630..save on shipping and hassle only..haha..

i have waited 10232 about 4months and no luck on finding them here..than blow my money on tumbler..

Depends how big is your table/floor. During my time, each set/pack comes in 2 pieces each (same type). Generally, I'll recommend in following ratio:
- 1 set curve
- 4 set cross
- 2 set straight
- 2 set T-junction

18 pieces 32x32 studs, if put in 6x3, that's about 1m x 3m.
If you slot in city sets or modular, the land area is even bigger.

You can cut down on those plates.
e.g. Curve is nice to have, but not really that useful.

There was no queue as i went there during lunch time.
In fact, there was plenty of stock available for the new SW lego sets.
The hot selling ones were the Wall-E (sold out in most lego shops) and minifigure series 14.
Since the price are the same between the lego shop and ToyrUs, I bought the sets in ToyRUs to collect the star points.

What was sold out in TRU IOI city mall? The new SW sets?

My set currently sitting in the store. No room for them. Found some old pictures, like three years ago. 

The police station was modified from set 7498 and helicopter from 7741 if not mistaken. Too long already.
