Actually, why buy from retail while resellers are selling abit above premium these days for rolex? Can get a Sub for 51k vs 47k for retail. Get treated like crap by the AD and yet need tobuy pieces we don't want...
*
assuming sub no date? thats quite good price... my grey dealer offering 52.8k.. maybe can discount to 52k max... lol

I just inherited a Tudor Black Bay.

It is belongs to a deceased relative, and his wife gave it to me. There is no document or box; only a cloth bag (those come with gold shop).

Tudor Boutique in MV told me that it needs to be authenticated at the Rolex Service Centre. The Rolex Service Centre told me they don't do authentication for Tudor, and they also mentioned that any other centre outside is not authorised to do it either.

Any advice on how to authenticate the watch?

Thanks

They don't do authentication, the roundabout way is to send it in for service. If its fake, they won't service it. But you risk the watch being confiscated for being a fake.

Else, just take it to a luxury reseller watch shop to check, they will be able to tell if its real or fake but without any papers to back it up.

I think the older year models shud be below 50k, not too sure the 1st batches of 126610ln , I think 2020 can get 50k or not, but the 116610ln should be below I reckon

116610LN are about 45-48k a piece pending on condition.

Actually as long as it's 126610LN, really doesn't matter which year I guess unless you're picky about the warranty.

Just wanna share my Rolex buying experience. I have zero purchase history, I walked in Rolex ad at my place in feb this year, enquire a datejust 126300 blue dial, the SA said can put me on waiting list and I did. To my surprised they messaged me in May and told me that the watch is available to collect, exactly 3 mths of waiting only, cos I didn’t expect I can get it so soon.

After collected the watch, I put my name on the waiting list for batgirl, and this time around I don’t have high hopes on acquiring it soon or even get a call. But again to my surprised(this time a big surprised), they messaged me yesterday asking whether I would like to take batman as they received this variant instead of batgirl. I’m more than happy they allocated the watch for me even it’s not my preferred bracelet, so I accepted their offer. This time around also waited for exactly 3 mths only.

Maybe I’m the lucky one to get 2 watches in only 6 mths with zero purchase history before.
