JPSB ah, okay. So there really is no independent Rolex store, then. Only a service center it seems.
Anyway, prices are supposed to be controlled, but clearly they are not. Fluctuates on demand and supply. yktan83 what model are you looking for, exactly? |

Don't know about Malaysia but in some countries the manufacturer can only suggest a MSRP and cannot dictate retail prices or they risk flaunting anti-monopoly / anti-trust laws. So there must be some leeway in terms of discount. Anyway, prices are supposed to be controlled, but clearly they are not. Fluctuates on demand and supply. yktan83 what model are you looking for, exactly? Just speaking in general of course, perhaps someone can advise if this is applicable to the watch retail segment. |

X-posted from another thread; just a heads up for those who are keen -- BB black already in most ADs. THG will supposedly have an event this Fri at Gardens and this will be unveiled there. Others already have it on display.
RM12.7k and most do not offer any discounts. Is possible to squeeze 5% though. ![]() |

You have any contact for 10%? Mine won't give more than 5%, not even for Pelagos or BB red/blue.

It seem to me that the price of luxury watches has increased. I was looking around MilanClassic for example & realized that the prices of their luxury watches has all been increased by an extra MYR 1k... (Not sure what's the implication; perhaps it's because of our weakening MYR I reckon...)
Finally I drove over to MilanClassic shop @ Berjaya Times Square to try to sell my Rolex to them, but I didn't feel satisfied by the fact that only the clerks/secretaries was present, & they had to call up the boss (I presumed) for the price quotation, & they just mentioned my Rolex model code to the boss over the phone that's all (mentioned the wrong model code 16233 as well; because mine is the more expensive 16234 model); finally I didn't received a reasonable price quotation at all; so I cannot agree to sell to MilanClassic (feel like they are trying to rip me off). I also didn't liked it when my Rolex was all soiled with fingerprints after that (give me the impression that they are not careful or with the cannot be bothered attitude), & they also didn't put everything nicely/properly back into my Rolex box as things were originally nicely presented. Nevermind, I went over to JW Luxury nearby to see how...; I saw some guys sitting in there (big size people indeed); they were talking away in Cantonese language (some client/customer discussion I presume); they all gave me that serious (what you want?) look when I stepped into the shop; but finally, the principle/boss of the shop turned out quite okay... He gave me a more reasonable price quotation for my watch (which I didn't want to accept yet...), but at least he placed my watch back into the box more nicely/properly; leaving behind less fingerprints on the watch as well... Finally, there wasn't enough time for me to go check out CYT Watch & Total Watch Gallery nearby as well (because it was already closing time); but I would check them out & see how... --- This post has been edited by kEITh_22b: Nov 3 2015, 03:44 AM |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Nov 3 2015, 11:10 AM) hi! another one who doesnt like milan classic I agree that one can sell for higher price in places like eBay & mudah.my for instance, compare to selling it to the luxury watch dealer here in MSIA (which they clearly want to make significant profit per watch)... However, one faces the risk of being conned/scammed (exposed to fraud) when selling/advertising online...; on the other hand, selling to the dealer (by going to their shop) such as MilanClassic or WingWahWatch is guarantied to be safe.but yea, in general its due to the currency increase...which actually makes it a better time to sell to international market. its very rare to get a good price via trade-in in most places here, as they obviously still need to make money, can be up to a couple K or more. so yea, if ur in no hurry...just sell it urself...better yet just post on international watch sites. Well, anyway I paid a visit to Total Watch Gallery & CYT Watch in Berjaya Times Square earlier today...; To be fair, the boss of Total Watch was a nice person (yesterday I went there but they were closing); so today the boss took a close look at my Rolex & gave me quite a reasonable quotation (he gave a call to his other business partner who wasn't present today to confirm the price). After that, I visited CYT Watch + another 3 more luxury watch dealers (with names I couldn't really remember; but I believe it was "Swiss Time/Swiss Hour Watches", "Wah Sing Gallery", & another luxury watch shop with a Chinese name; all located on the same 6th level of Times Square); so far everything was more positive today, & some of the dealers were somewhat professional/meticulous with my watch. (The dealer of one shop forgot to remove the extra links he added to my Rolex's Jubilee Bracelet during the inspection process; I also didn't know anything until I checked my watch later & realized that it is suddenly very loose on my wrist; I still have my extra Jubilee links in my box, which I removed last time...) If you are referring to Berjaya Times Square, then all of it (luxury watch shops) are located on the 6th floor it seems (I must have already checked them all out --- This post has been edited by kEITh_22b: Nov 3 2015, 10:46 PM |

I would give CYT a LIKED. both ampang park & BTS outlet are having good customer service even i am not buying anything. Price quoted for pre-owned is reasonable but not the lowest of course.
