Hi guys. since we have the rolex club now.. Anyone of you know the RRP for submariner date currently? And normally how much discount we can get from AD(as a normal walk in customer, not VIP price)?

Thanks
*
should be about rm27k.
discount, no idea, buy pre-owned tongue.gif

Hi all,

I bought GMT Master II recently. Later only I found out that there's a small scratch at the back as following. I never wear the watch. Is it normal? Am thinking of going back for exchange.  cry.gif

What do you mean by winding it to the full? I use it everyday and I only left it alone on Sunday. The same goes to my wife.
*
just cos u use it everyday doesnt mean it's being wound enough to build up a decent power reserve.
so it can be normal for a watch to stop after idle for one day.
obviously the best way to test is to wind it to full and leave it alone for at least 2 days and see if it can last.

How to wind it to full? And how to check whether its full?
*
unwind the crown and turn?
generally just wind it about 40 full rotations.
i believe the manual also says something about this, but only mentions 20-30 turns.
and you cannot overwind it anyway as they have built-in protection.

I read that the case is made of ceramic so scratching it should be the least of my problems. Thats also one of the reason why im eyeing this piece. No current owners to share their experience?  icon_question.gif  Saw one shop in Johor Premium Outlet selling this for somewhere around RM13k. That's should be the price range right?
*
i think u should have grabbed it at jpo.
the srp now should be a little over rm16k.

I did wound up till the max, till cannot wind anymore. and still the power reserve is no good.
*

I meant it became a little tougher to wind. Yes it can still keep on winding i guess.
*

ck77 I do like the 14060 (have similar issues with 114060); but... as much as I don't absolutely need the date, it is a very nice to have! These are confusing times... with the falling RM, maybe I just get my grail watch and heck it.

Everdying I think... once you live with it for a week, you may quickly get used to it.
*
not really.
the seiko sumo has pretty similar lug design.
and most seiko fanbois u know will complain the proportions are off.
rolex ppl just blinded only by the crown whistling.gif

What would you all deem as a reasonable price for a pre-owned Explorer 14270? 13k expensive boh, assuming condition all good?
*
i wouldnt pay more than 11k for it.
i seen a used 214270 sell for rm15k also...or get the nicer, newer 39mm oyster perpetual.
