Go queue at Swiss if you do not mind waiting.

I would say 216570 since you have the hulk & batman.

Unless you want a Rolex without date.

Only the polar explorer is nice. If btw both, the 114060 will do...

As most ADs don't have the Sub in store, I had to swing by a dealer to try on both 114060 and 216570 to get a better feel of both. Honestly, I like the Exp2, but the Sub somehow is more perfect. Exp2 feels just a little bit too big, so the lugs don't sit as well on my wrist compared to the Sub. It also feels lighter(?) for some reason.

Anyway, this is a tough choice. Should I decide to go ahead with this, I need to let something else (or two!) go.

Yea, the old Explorer at 40mm is a much better wear I feel and the 42mm is probably the only reason I didn't get the polar explorer offered to me.

+1 to 40mm exp2 especially polar, undervalued and underappreciated.
though the orange hand is nice on 42mm exp2, i just find it is too big.

For some reason, white dials were never really my thing. I think the Polar Exp is nice to look at, but not so nice on my wrist. And while I prefer the size of the 5 digit Exp2, the orange hand also quite nice if I'm honest. In the meantime... I guess I will keep the hunt for a 114060.

Why don’t you call up AD and ask.
Anyway, reseller also won’t sell on premium coz it is not a hot model.

Exp2 is readily available; I believe list is about RM31k; 2k premium over 114060 Sub.

You are right bro. SWG quoted 31K less 5%. Model in stock.
42mm is too big IMO. Anybody else thinks the same way?

Yes; if you find grey, they can be had for cheaper. I chanced upon one for about 26k, brand new full set. Despite having a higher sticker price than 114060, the Exp2 tends to have lower resale value over the Sub.

Anyway, I was in a similar crossroad; Sub or Exp2. I managed to try them both on at a grey dealer and honestly prefer Sub over Exp2. The 42mm is just that little bit weird. I love it in pics, but not so much on my wrist.

Aye, I'm still in two minds over pursuing a Rolex. I had the new Exp2 on, totally killed my buzz so I will only settle for the old 40mm polar explorer.

Never had much going on for Sub, maybe its time to revisit it again.

I'd say go for the Sub because Exp2 is really an acquired taste.
