I had one of this in my 10GL, should i got 1 more, since i hate to see the alga on my plant.

The tank located at the corner of my house, where it will get moderate sunlight, but I have my LED light on for 24x7, Non air-con room, and I am using HOB type.

I wanted to get the smallest catfish possible. My local shop sold me black color catfish. He told me itis the smallest already. Itis big. What is the smallest type actually?

My friend told me for Guppies and Tetra, I dun need to have any filter...

And i bought 2 sponge filters and also a duo-pump, on delivery. I am very new to fish hobby..
Please 'scold' me for any mistake.

yes i mix anti chlorine to the new water in the pail first and than leave it for 5 minutes. than only use it to change water from the fish tank.

on the first time change water i change only about 30% fish tank water.
on the second time change water (4 days later) i change almost half of the tank water. I though the fish died on the first time because too much toxin in the water. so this time I change a bit more water. I use tap water which has a water filter outside of the house.

I did not cycle my tank as well, now i am doing frequent water change with HOB filter and sponge filter installed. Will reduce the water changing to once a week in future.

Btw, is it OK for me to off the sponge filter every night? and On it back in the morning? The main HOB filter will remain on for 24 hours.

Thanks for the info. Thinking to get ember tetra, any suggestion on similar size or smaller fish?

oh sorry, i initially had two tanks. so one tank i put my two longkang guppies. then the other tank i did it a little later then i put in 7 guppies and 5 died. to be fair, one of them went into the filter and kena gilis.

hope you can see it. difficult to get the right angle. yours is rounder and dark green.

Just putting in 7 tiny neon tetra into the planted tank. They look very scare and keep hiding inside the gravel.. I will monitor it for a few days.

Last week I bought an assassin snail.

Every morning I wake up and switch ON the light. So many others snail floating at surface and side glass. Tiny little snails. Baby snail I guess so.

I need to collect and buang all the snails.

Where they came from ahh??

  I think the assassin snail do his job effectively hunt all other snails.

My tank 2.5 feet...1 assassin snail enough to cover?

Very funny...all snail were scared from eaten by him and just floating/playing at surface.   

Last week I was tired trying to catch CAE and now catch snails.

My current led light is blue and red, look great for my 10 gallons tank. Just upgraded 22 gallons and now the lighting became very dim.

Btw, sifus, I will be away from home for 3 days. Should I keep my Led light on for 24 hours or keep them in the dark?

My aquarium has no more plant for more than 3 months. I failed to tk plant and fish in 1 tank. :S.
But my Cory and Oto are still surviving. Any plant that easy to tk with normal lighting?

That is very far from PJ. I can try posting using PosLaju. Should be fine (I think) cause I bought plants from Penang seller using PosLaju before.
