wicked stuff man....seriously this is the first time I came across with such cool stuff for ppl who wants to hide the piercings..
but too bad..I'm too old for piercing..its takes too long to heal before I could hide it from my boss.. speaking of piercings...I notice these piercing jewelries are made of alot of different material...all I know is you have to find something that human body does not rejects..which..I don't quite know which type..surgical steel?titanium?etc etc etc..these retainers are made of plastics/silicon so..are they really that suitable? Added on February 13, 2008, 1:22 amoh btw..anyone heard of exotic tattoo in subang? I went there twice and met one of the tattoo artist..he's pretty friendly..never really know how good they are though... any comments? This post has been edited by Mr. Philip: Feb 13 2008, 01:22 AM |

QUOTE(Mr. Philip @ Feb 13 2008, 01:20 AM) wicked stuff man....seriously this is the first time I came across with such cool stuff for ppl who wants to hide the piercings.. there are many grades of jewellery - from what i've worn, in order of increasing quality - surgical steel, titanium, implant grade but too bad..I'm too old for piercing..its takes too long to heal before I could hide it from my boss.. speaking of piercings...I notice these piercing jewelries are made of alot of different material...all I know is you have to find something that human body does not rejects..which..I don't quite know which type..surgical steel?titanium?etc etc etc..these retainers are made of plastics/silicon so..are they really that suitable? retainers have something to do with PTFE, they're made of materials which are made purely with piercings in mind i'm not sure whether you could wear it when the piercing is still healing - i've seen people wearing them when it's a fresh piercing though i would research further into it, if i wanna get retainers for any new piercings i might be getting retainers...but don't know yet |

Oh oh. I got my nose pierced about three weeks ago. Sadly that time I didn't know that it's 100 percent way better to get it pierced with a needle instead of a gun.
But yeah. Fortunately it didn't exactly hurt like a beeech to me. Hm.. I think it was healed after the first week. Now I can safely pull my nose stud it in and out without feeling any pain, and no bleeding. I guess I'm pretty lucky. So should I just leave it be? My friend pierced her nose along with me, with a gun too. Unlike me, she took it out the second day. She actually had a fever for about two days, and didn't go to school. She said it hurt even waaayy worse than when she had her tongue pierced. I guess it depends eh? Speaking of tongue piercing. She did hers at Sg. Wang. And the lady that did hers was clearly a professional as she explained everything my friend needed to know, and told my friend to visit every few days to get it checked. And my friend did, she got treatments free of charge too. She pierced it last November if I'm not mistaken. Said she only had to eat soups for the first three-four days, and after less than a month it was completely healed. She still has her tongue piercing until now. I actually planned to get a lip piercing this March holiday. But I'm not so sure anymore.. I still want it badly and I don't mind the pain. The thing is I have school. Gahh. |
