Would Team Red diehards now claim Hardwarecanucks being biased now that they came up with review of the 980 Ti Superclocked ACX2.0+ with the end conclusion titled "Fury Who?" tongue.gif

http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/hardw...-review-18.html

Inb4 "wait for Windows 10, wait for DX12" or completely dismissing him as biased. Team Red is running out of excuses already.

My point exactly! Next up they'll ask support AMD so that it wouldn't die out and leave Nvidia to monopolize and jack up prize. If AMD is going bankrupt doing it badly on their own, I'm not gonna buy their GPUs as a form of charity to keep them on last few breaths!

I tried to reason it there but the saltiness and the bitterness and the defensiveness against anything remotely critical mentioned about their beloved AMD is so pervasive that I'll leave them to live up to their own mistakes. Their own money anyway.

It is not AMD fanboy problem , however, Its AMD PR problem that creates so much unreal hype .Nvidia Fanboys will never say stuff like Fury X will beat titan X by 20% or even 40% because Nvidia PR handle hype like professional not bunch AMD PR BS.

AMD fanboys cannot expect the fact that AMD has lost this generation and will excuse whatever the facts are.

AMD fanboys need to move on and get a life.

kesian AMD as HBM aka GDDR5 more expensive only so called LPPL memory limited with 4GB mean 4GB VRAM but stuck with HDMI 1.4 saje.

i wish they stand up to compete with nvidia & intel so that no more monopoly by them but too bad too shabby..

Recently jumped from AMD to NVIDIA camp with a GTX 960 biggrin.gif

Are there any video editing apps that could take advantage of CUDA, such as After Effects?

AMD marketing tends to make exaggerated claim. (Bulldozer, Fury X, Mantle, Directx 12, Trueaudio, currently hyping up Zen = only for AMD CEO to say amd plans to stay away from developing for pc market due to its volatility Read here )

Nvidia marketing on the other hand.......tends to 'mess up' specification (970 3.5gb?). Cleaning up every 'bad' comment on its blog and forums.
When nvidia release titan x with 12gb VRAM, I dont see their marketing team promoting it or exaggerating the VRAM benefit as much as what AMD does.

If the budget fits your bill then why not? You can see the reviews out there now. The "ti" variant kicks ass. With 1440p, only maximum settings all the way no matter what game you throw at it. smile.gif

NVIDIA is preparing to cement its sub-$150 product offering, and compete with AMD's Radeon R7 370, with a new SKU called the GeForce GTX 950 Ti.
