QUOTE(S4PH @ Apr 16 2015, 10:06 AM) is it from mudah? the link i shared, so far my card is running superbly well no issues what so ever, running shadow of mordor on ultra settings can use up to 3.8gb of vram which my previous 970 was maxing out at 3.5gb and stutter of course of course. did you oc your card ady? i'm going to crank it tonight. juz receive it from postmen. the seller is banyak efficient in replying my msg as well. deal done in less than 10min of whatsapp. initially thought getting the dcu ii version from GS @ rm850 only. but after reading review, the heatsink sucks due to the pipe only have contact with 3 pipes instead of all 5. At full load on shadow of mordor my gpu temp ranges from 70-73 at 60% fan speed. I need to change my case badly. Seller is super efficient, very easy to delal with him, did u get the tri x box? he told me other sellers wont be getting the box sudah habis stock kotak kuning all kotak merah after that.

QUOTE(Desprado @ Apr 16 2015, 12:20 AM) No they all using story mode for the benchmark and mostly are driving that is why AMD driver overhead is coming to play. The benchmark kinda glitch out on me. My friend's 970 also dropped frame rates while driving so it's not really AMD exclusive though his minimum is slightly higher than mine. QUOTE(chocobo7779 @ Apr 16 2015, 08:21 AM) 49FPS on 1200p with a 7950... Not bad for a card that is more than 3 years old... On what setting? My 7950 still in box.

Is that manual fan speed? 60% is quite loud imo. My card usually ran around 30+% fan speed around 72C. Tri-X can run fine at 80-82 C. At 81 C the auto fan speed will be set at 50-56% 50% fan speed is the speed that is slightly louder than my case fans. What case are you using? I used small case last time with bad circulation but I have aircon so it wasn't a problem then haha. This post has been edited by terradrive: Apr 16 2015, 01:05 PM

Headset > gpu noise / Loud speaker > gpu noise try powercolor 6950 fan. accidentally forget to reset my msi AB configuration to auto and when i game, it freaking sound like a JET running at 80% speed coz i set my previous gc after aboev 70% = 1C = 1% increment.

I'm actually using apply earpods or other iem when i use my pc. But with the earpods i'm still sensitive to the outside noise haha. My sister's pc with the hd5830 is very loud, i can hear it across my room. Poor GPU must be running like mad lol.

It can survive in air cond room but not in normal room haha. This post has been edited by terradrive: Apr 16 2015, 07:49 PM

Anyone using R9 280 would've bought i5 4460 already It's all about the balance. No overhead problems if people pairs a balanced system. Not to mention Nvidia tax on their cards.

They will always try to find a way to make AMD look like shit compare to the glorious nvidia.

This case of mine has survived like 3-4 systems and is very old, its so compact at the cpu cooler area until i cant fit 2 more 120mm fans on the top side to exhaust air out. I have 3 input fans and only 1 output fan.

I'm planning to change my casing to CM Haf XB Evo. Any complaint or better alternative at similar price point? You have to see which one suits you best. One of the best airflow case is Carbide Air 540 but it is almost cube shaped, loud and expensive at RM500.
