At first, this cybersouth- green casa look interesting , but to my shock after google map
the entry location - 2°52'51.7" N 101°39'44.1"E (this is the entrance main point)
from main road to inside) , i notice the whole project is developed on a ex mining lake pool
(after spoke with some local resident , this ex mining lake pool is known to be the deepest in Malaysia).
i visited dengkil my self and indeed this is ex mining lake pool.

https://www.google.com.my/maps/place//@2.87....6603785,17.38z

I believe the developer is start filling sand or soil into the lake partially.
but how strong can the foundation be ? may be in 5-10 years time it will sink.

i glad i didnt purchase it, so all need to be more cautious when come to buying property.

pls give me some feedback if you have any, thx

This Cyber South is further south of Cyberjaya/Putrajaya, near Serenia City and Xiamen U. I wonder why it's leasehold??? hmm.gif  MCT, being a non GLC cannot get freehold land?

Price start from 480K

Nice info there. No wonder it is imaged as pockets of water on Google maps. How much of the development will cover the former mine land? The kapal besi seems to be near the other end (ELITE highway side). According to my colleagues, the area adjacent to Dengkil highway has a sand quarry.

CK15 is correct. This is an ex tin mining site, therefore leasehold.

by the way, the entire sunway also ex tin mining site. Look at them now!!!

Its all about the execution by the developer.

I would rather pick this dengkil site than canal city....bcos of low land mass.....global warning.....

Just feel that the size is bit small for landed - if 20x70 & freehold will be more attractive. Wonder how much is the one for 20x65?

Some joker purposely create a new nick just to post this.

Maybe it's a SA who got frustrated with the sales and want to release the frustration here. LOL.

You don't sound like seeking advise. wink.gif

Anyway one post is more than enough. Anything more is considered SPAM.

Sunway, Puchong are also formerly tin mined land. Same goes to those properties in Perak. Sunway and Puchong turns out rather well. The impact is more on condo or flat as the foundation work is intensive.

most established developers in malaysia are already having good experience with mining land. For MCT, they might be filling the land and their foundation i believe will be on cement for the size of your property

For highrise, developers will do more careful job with foundation. They will also do load test or something.

When it comes to terrace houses, will they do so much foundation work ? The last thing we need is after a few years some land that you house is sitting on sink by a several inches .....
