The 1st CS that I requested for this just cancelled my Amanah card without transferring the CL to my VS.
Luckily the 2nd CS that I spoke too manage to transfer the CL to the VS.

It will only take 2-3 working days to cancel the Amanah provided no outstanding balance, while the CL transfer can take up to 10 working days.

No sms or call from them, instead I called the CS after 3-4 working days and was told that the Amanah card already cancelled.

I presumed your Platinum is Amanah?
If yes, did you ask the CS to transfer your Amanah CL to your VS? If not, the CS could just transferred your credit balance and closed your Amanah card.

For my case, the CS said CL transfer can take up to 10 working days.

I would have thought HSBC would have upgraded your Platinum to VS, just like other banks normally upgraded the Gold to Platinum, etc.
If after 10 working days the CL from you Platinum is not transferred in your VS online statement, can always call the CS to clarify

I would have assumed like other banks, HSBC would have upgraded your friend's conventional Visa Platinum to VS and cancel the platinum, instead of letting him hold 2 conventional cards.
But being HSBC, anything is possible

You are right.
The quota for 30k points redemption has been refreshed for the months of June.

I've never redeemed Grab voucher, so no idea but for Lazada, they will send the voucher via registered mail.
IIRC, it will take about a month for them to mail the voucher.
The RM100 Lazada voucher has no minimum spending but it is only redeemable for a single payment, so make sure you combine all the items with accumulated values of more than RM100 before you apply the voucher.

I've already received SMS from HSBC that my RM100 Lazada voucher will be sent via registered mail and the tracking numbers is also given in the SMS.
Maybe you Grab voucher is also OTW to you too

So better use for total cart value above RM100 as no refund of unused value.

As @fruitie's post above, the only worthy HSBC card is the VS.
I cancelled the Amanah and kept the VS as Amanah's CB are crap.
At least with VS, I can redeem RM100 Lazada or Grab voucher with 30,000 pts.

As per other comments above, go for VS.

Since you applied through branch and the offer is free Condotti luggage, you can try calling their helpdesk (which is a frustrating affair) and ask nicely if they can change the promo to Lazada voucher.
Else, you can try asking the SA at the branch if they can help you with the promo.

Chances are very slim for them to change your reward, especially your VS already activated
