Do your mean existing cardholders can apply for a new card and qualify for new promotion (such as Lazada RM500 voucher), as long as the he/she is an HSBC cardholder for more than 1 year? If that's the case, no need to cancel and reapply?
*
that's what the T&C says, except it did not state 1 year cooling period. In other words, their staffs are not following their T&C.

Heard cancel and reapply is more difficult. But again, i did not cancel and apply also rejected with this lame reason. they told me to apply again in Jan 2020. i told myself to cancel their card once I'm done rolling for cashflow.

Samsung Pay is an e-wallet!? are they okay?
*
Sure ok la. Cap at 15 bucks cannot roll money already. Last time 0.2% unlimited. Meaning that the bank covers your entire cash out cost.

seems like they missed out BigPay, Boost and Lazada Wallet in eWallets category? does those still fall under 0.2% category hmm.gif
*
Haha. I missed that too. Their merchant normally very limited for some reason.

Maybe can ask miss orchid to write to them and ask

Edit : these ewallets cannot cash out right? Maybe that's the reason

eWallets: GrabPay, FavePay, Touch n Go,
Samsung Pay

These changes are not attractive at all.  hmm.gif  doh.gif

I think they don't fancy the cash out ewallets. That's why the reward points for ewallets that allow cashing out also reduced.

Existing Primary Cardholders defined as existing primary cardholders of HSBC Credit Card(s)/-i who applies for another new primary Participating HSBC Credit Card(s)/-i.

HSBC 2019 RM25 Cash Back Acquisition Promotion (“Promotion”) https://sp.hsbc.com.my/projects/lazada2018/...NAL%20(003).pdf

thanks. aiyah, i knew this was too easy.

but anyway, i searched earlier posts the other day and they do give 25 bucks rebates to existing cardholders who call in and request. not sure still giving or not, i'll have to try. if the one you gave did not explicitly say existing cardholders who apply for new cards, i have a stronger case.

I *think* I'm getting mine soon, after some complaints (don't try this at home). So no 6 months wait. CCRIS showing Pending Customer Acceptance. Credit Limit changed to some reasonable figure.

This means approved. Just call CS to confirm.

My Citi, HSBC & Aeon also have the same status. Citi only changed it to approved in eCCRIS after my 1st statement. I received card form HSBC. For Aeon, awaiting call from branch to collect card.
*
thanks bro, will do.

Edit : They just called. Approved. So confirm no need wait 6 months if go through unofficial channel.

and just to add, surprisingly, My current outstanding is 25% above my credit limit. Still approve.

I credit score from RAMCI is 8/10. All requirements met.

Good CCris record, applied HSBC Mpower card via RinggitPlus to get the free Vivo phone last 2 days.

Got call from the bank yesterday.

Today got email say application not successful.

Sad. No new phone. sad.gif
*
that phone is first come first serve. it's towards the end of the promo now......

QUOTE(jefftan4888 @ Oct 2 2019, 04:47 PM)
It depends on DSR.  tongue.gif  biggrin.gif
*
my DSR was perfect and still perfect. Some banks still suka2 reject me.

Back then probably not much credit HIStory. now better HIStory but seldom apply. Last from HSBC also reject because apparently I was not allowed to apply a second card within 1 year. that's definitely not DSR or bad HIStory.

This year I do not yet get any RM500 voucher, I got gift from other promotion for Amanah cc. But I cancel it on 8Aug (applied on March). So means after 3 month, on dec 2019. I can apply for this RM500 lazada voucher?

certain promotion did mention need 6months after cancellation. But this RM500 promo did not mention it need 6 months.
*
4. The following Cardholders are excluded from this Promotion:

a. Cardholders who cancel their Participating Credit Card/-i(s) within three (3) months from the
date of approval of their Participating Credit Card/-i(s)’ application;
b. Existing Cardholders who have not applied for any new Participating Credit Card/-i(s) during
the Sign-Up Period;
<<<<< Check with them if your Amanah applies here. But I assure you, their answer might not be correct. They've given me so many different reasons rejecting my application.
c. Existing Cardholders who are participating in any other concurrent credit card sign-up
promotions by HSBC Bank and/or HSBC Amanah;
d. Holder(s) of invalid or cancelled HSBC Bank/HSBC Amanah Credit Cards/-i and/or whose
accounts are delinquent within HSBC Bank and HSBC Amanah’s definition at any time during
the Sign-Up Period; and/or
e. Holder(s) of a company and/or corporate HSBC Bank/HSBC Amanah Credit Cards/-i.

Hi guys, I would like to ask how is the pay back period for top up big pay card with cc? Is it 0% 12 months installment plan to payback or other ways?
*
payback like how you spend your credit card without bigpay. 20 days from your statement date is your deadline.

HSBC called me for few days for this complementary HSBC Platinum Mastercard. It seems not attractive to me, yet to free gift upon sign up.
*
they call you = no free gift.

if you meet the T&C, apply yourself, spend 2k and you get $500 lazada voucher. see https://sp.hsbc.com.my/lazada500

Don't understand.
For item [4b], does that mean even old customer with other HSBC cc more than 1 year also not entitled for rm500 lazada voucher on this promo since in t&c excluded??
*
it means you need to apply for a new participating card to qualify.
