Aiyoh. I just tested SecureIX. The speed increased slightly but cannot access websites. Terrible.

Edit: Opps my mistake, Didn't enable connection sharing on the VPN.

Game updates (eg. World of Warcraft), demos, Linux distributions, etc. usually have torrents nowadays. Torrents aren't just for copyright-infringing materials.

Agree with you.

And because of those people who are doing illegal downloads, those who are using P2P for proper use, like me, are being punished.... TMNUT is nutz vmad.gif

How can you justify this, TM spies?

200/20 = 10usd per person
10 x 3.8 = about Rm40 per months..
That's expensive sweat.gif

Or if you have a dedicated server which doesn't throttle bittorrent also can. You gather users, manage $$$ and everything, i just need superuser account, flexibility in choosing the OS and creating my own vpn accounts. Fair enough? smile.gif

PPTP and L2TP have been known for unstable connections. If you guys interested in testing OpenVPN, i can let you try my lousy home pc streamyx connection. Just for knowledge, nothing behind it. smile.gif

Well, let's say i got something behind it. I want to promote opensource, in this case OpenVPN.

No, it's linux system. Just don't tinker with my porn. laugh.gif

First, you go to www.openvpn.net, download and install the windows version. You might need to restart PC.

Next, download and unpack the demo.zip attached. All files inside demo.zip must reside in same folder. If you have installed OpenVPN and restarted your PC, you should be able to right click the file demo.ovpn and start it. *Only* one client can connect at a time.

After connected, try access http://10.8.0.1. I haven't tried the http but it should work.

Btw, i reserve the right to shutdown the service anytime. Ok, I gotta back home now. smile.gif

    * Users can't log in although their accounts are active.

Enjoy!

[2006-11-08; 11:02]
----
[11:39] - These problems have now also been fixed.

Some users are currently complaining about them being unable to log in to Windows Live Messenger (MSN). We have also had som troubles with some websites being unreachable. Technicians are curretly working to solve the problem.

[2006-11-08; 10:22]
----
[11:35] - The problem should now be fixed and the login process should be fully functional again.

We are curreently performing some system upgrades. They might cause login problems for some of our users.

If you can get text when browsing http://10.8.0.1 that means it's working. Easy right?

Oh btw, my upload speed should be around 30-40 Kbps. VPN connection require more data transfer, so may be you'll get around 20-30 Kbps only. Try download the freestyler.gz, i wanna know how fast you can get it. smile.gif

SecureIX feels pretty useless to me, I get better speeds without it tongue.gif
