How to counter techis?

Well for start you need a ranged hero to take out the bombs.
And of course, will require sentry wards to detect them.

Amateurish techies will spam too many bombs in one location like runes or the stairs. A good one will plant just a few of them, but at several unexpected spots. Be aware that his friends will also attempt to lure you to the bomb nest.

zeus, summons, sentries, techies are not really good in high tier games as they cant contribute much in a teamfight and easy to counter.

When Techies pick, its the mind game start with support vs enemy techies, one i learn about is, never ever walk side walk, always remind urself, walk where the creep walk, which mean u hardly leave lane, if u did not lose lane that badly, it would be 4 v 5 game, techies is just rubbish. Also like a lot say early gem.

I used to use pugna as a counter against techies, its easy to guess where the pug techies would plant their mine, so just use decriptify and walk pass the mine, u trigger it and get 0 dmg, rinse and repeat till you wasted early 5min of techies time then gem, he basically just rubbish.

Ya, agree with techies is useless. Especially during late game.

and his stun trap is such a pain in the ass too
