it has been hide....either you hold your "EARTH" logo long enough then it will appear the option to turn on ..or ...swipe up the bar...

Yeah, after guided by LightningZERO. I saw the line earlier but kept tapping on it instead of sliding it up.

I think SNDeepInfo should show Infant if it is new, but could be from old stock too. Is the warranty activated ?

upgraded to 8.1.2,

Now phone is unable to get coverage always saying "No Service"

tried to restore IOS but still resolve

tried to put turn on and off airplane mode still unable to resolve

tried reset network setting, unable to resolve

tried to reset and erase all setting , unable to resolve

btw, its a iphone 6 plus unit

anyone experience the same ? HELP !!!

Yup warranty activated and will expire nov 2015. So I guess Apple singapore lie when they told me they never replace with refurbished units

Apple states all RMA'ed units are seed units. Seed units are defined as which is what is actually used by Apple everywhere for warranty replacements. They are indistinguishable from factory new units as all mechanical parts and everything you touch is new. They are subjected to more quality control evaluations than factory new.

Yes, if you read back on this thread, you will a notice a few forummers who experienced the same problem. Try a clean reset and see network turns back on. If not Im afraid you have to send it back for RMA.

Well, if you call them after 10 days of the invoice date, standard warranty will apply, hence the refurbished unit ?

Okay, sucky experience.

Apple contacted me and told me that there's an issue again. On my request, my order's been cancelled. In the online store however, the order is still listed as "Preparing for shipment". Best part is that since I used a debit card to make the purchase, my funds are still in hold by the bank. Apple says they've already reverted payment but it usually takes the banks 7-10 working days to refund the payment, whereas my bank is telling me that unless Apple's appointed bank voids the transaction, the money will stay in hold for a month.

Did you order for a cancelllation? If you did, Apple will need to process your cancellation and then revert the money back into your debut card and before your bank receives this 'transaction' from Apple, your money will still be held by your banks. It could take days and weeks before you see this transaction appear on your account.

Apple's policy of returns for a 14 day period from the day you received your phone states that they will take your complete set of Iphone and replace it with a brand new set OR refund you your money. If you RMA after 14 days, then you will get a seed unit in replacement, most probably within a week or so.

All cancellation have to wait especially with debit card. No matter with apple or any other purchase, it will never be so fast. two weeks to one month at least.

Yes, when they told me they had difficulty processing my order, I told them to cancel it. Now that money is stuck in hold until the transaction is voided by their bank. My bank over here says they're waiting for the other party to void the transaction before they release the funds to me. Problem is some banks don't void the transactions, they leave it unclaimed, and it goes back to the buyer's account - which in my case, is one month's time.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they get the issue sorted out ASAP.
