exactly.. now i understand why the batt can last so long.. it will fetch info from the server when opening the apps or when needed unlike android push it to the phone whether you open the apps or not.. hmm something i will have to give up perhaps.. and i notice the mail apps as well have to refresh to fetch new mail (i've set the fetch to hourly)

Er... No la, I already made up my mind since January not buying anymore despite bought a lot of units but for other people. iPad? I have the iPad Mini Retina since last year's Red Sales.
To me, either I get it within few days or the most one month after a phone is out for sales, not like 3 months after that. It's considered a bit too long for me and won't bother buying it anymore.
iPad was due to a last minute decision, bought it for FaceTime.

Same issue here even on wechat . Wechat is worst , once a while , u get a notification but its actually wechat connecting and connected to the server and nothing else . And u cant send any msg on whatsapp if you have no service unlike android where I used to reply while in the lift and send it , when i get out , it will auto send out when there's connection unless there's no connection for a long time . On IOS , the send button just grey/white out .

It's ok , you're not alone . Still trying to figure that out . At least my favorite contacts from google contacts are still there in iphone

Yeah. These notifications and other annoyances are bugging me. There's also no official Google Keep app for iOS. Sure there's Notes, but it's not as good...

I also noticed Chrome does not maintain scrollback position (if I browse to another page and press back, I start from the top again). And if I bookmark a page, sometimes the Title of the page is the same as the URL and I have to type the title manually...

TBH , not only Chrome , most Google apps dont work well . Even Gmail gets delay most of the times instead of push . 1st , i thought was connection problem so I set it up in mail and indeed it's faster than gmail apps. The disadvantage , i cant select group anymore so i get my promotions , updates , etc all coming in together in 1 page where in gmail apps , i can select which folder i wan to get notification , leaving out promotions and updates

Yeah, you had better make sure, because my brother had a nasty experience when he bought the iPhone 6 from Dubai last year. While it worked well in both UAE, Malaysia, and Singapore, the phone simply could not access the 3G network in China, where my brother is primarily based!

In the end, he traded in the phone for another iPhone 6 but this time, it's a Malaysia set, which worked well in China. And had to absorb the loss as a result!

just bought my ip6 64gb for 2788 yesterday at Blue Cube. they marked up the price by RM39 from old RRP but still cheaper than buying from Machines.

Xiaomi has a good power bank that you can consider, with around 10,800 MaH and a very handy way to show the balance of power remaining in the device (via four flashing LEDs, shown in the picture below). And it's quite lightweight, which means the unit can be carried in a handbag or us men's sling bags.

Although unlike the Belkin power bank I used previously (far lower MaH, by the way), the Xiaomi one has only got one USB slot, unfortunately!
