I think commercial reviews are to be taken with a pinch of salt. It's always the user reviews that tell the real stories, whether good or bad.

Totally agreed. Anyway, i'm just trying to tell that Viking is actually an established brand by itself & not the same as the Sime Tyres though the same factory producing it. By the way, been using Viking PT5 for 4 months+ now on my wife's Preve. I guess it's too early to review right now..but so far so good. Quiet & good traction in wet condition

All cars got its own problems or issues. Just go to other car threads..all the same. My Kia Forte also got alignment issue initially. My father's 3-year old Vios also got an issue with the drive shaft & my brother's less than 2-month old Peugeot 408 also got problem with aircond & check engine light coming out. Perhaps this depends on our luck also to have a less problematic car.

At least, Proton honoured the warranty claim very satisfactorily. One of the cases that i really remember is when i complaint about the driver's & front passenger seat..the fabric minorly torn out. To my surprise, they replace it with a new seat..all seats including the rear passenger seat (though i did not complaint about the rear seat).

Guys, my preve have weird behavior today.when want to unlock car, first unlock will be at driver seat only. On second unlock, then only all doors will open.

Previously, one unlock will open all doors..

sounds like continental car feature, useful for daily alone driving person. 1st press unlock only driver side for single and alone driver only, 2nd press only unlocks all.

Hello everyone, may I ask how do you select an option on the music player? ( I'm using an executive model of the Preve)

I don't have problem with the car, but I don't come in and post "My Preve is trouble-free for +1 day". You see, what you're seeing here is just a small group of people asking about the issues they encountered. Even not all issues is a problem.

its one of the safety features actually, the one that I really like. You can set the locks to open on driver's door only, OR all doors. thumbup.gif for me I always travels alone, so I just set it to former. If there's any passenger, just push unlock once more brows.gif

During my 50K service last month, lodge a complain regarding front passenger furry seat. SA told me will update me once claim succeessful. Last week call me to make appointment to change seat.

I wasn't aware till I collect the car that they actually change all the seats. Driver, front passenger and the back passenger as well. Was told that they don't change individual seat now, once change whole car change. New seats for CNY just about time biggrin.gif

my preve have seat quality problem, dash rattle, idle vibration, left passenger door rattle.
but still, with 70k price tag, its very good buy.
enjoy driving it especially long distance highway.
130~140km constantly without hard pushing.
