try play some active killer snowball mid heroes or a fast farming carry till 4k then can go support

supporting below 4k may b risky as core may not perform.

sf, qop, tinker. puck, ember

One of my friends actually got his mmr raised from 3.5k to 4k in 2 days by playing Lina.

It's really hard to raise ur MMR while you in below 3.8k
(Not racist) but most pinoy only know bobo tanga ina..
Really hard to communicate with them, if they use voice chat, they will only using their own language, who the hell going to know what they are talking about..
When lost blame this blame that..
Already get used to it..
As what @Blues89 said, they only pick the hero their want...
Good Luck~

I do not agree when people said playing support is harder in lower bracket. The thing is, skill is relative. So no matter where you're in the mmr bracket, you'll always find your teammates to be incompetent. If you're a 4k player, those 5000-5500 carry might look competent to you. But from my perspective, most of them are just plain bad.

Your teammates are not the problem, its you. There are people who had thousands of hours logged into dota but still stuck in lower bracket. Its not like they lack talent or effort, they just don't have certain qualities required to be a winner. Positive attitude and strong mentality. My mid player is a 16 years old 6k player, my offlane was 6k last patch. When i talked to them, i can clearly see the difference in attitude.

I almost use Omnilknight in every ranked game because this is the only support I can use and Omnilknight is a protective hero where you can protect your noob teammates. It's impossible not to call them noob sometimes, take my last night's match as an example, http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/1113985641 Skywrath simply died more than 10 times in less than 15 or 20 minutes. And Zeus which was the one who keep scolding and flaming which lead to lose for the team. Void was blindly chromo-ing opponents either chromo creeps or literally nothing. Legion was also blindly initiate and always go duel when there are 5 opponents. All I did was to watch their back and protect them with Omnilknight, he's a very powerful hero. But eventually we won the game due to the opponent's teamwork going down. It was a tough match. All I wanna say is, sometimes I get to team with good players and sometimes just bad players. This is my dotabuff http://www.dotabuff.com/players/110403496
If you really get to team with bad players it's really hard to play the game man. My games are never perfect, always ended up with players who don't understand language, bad connection, etc. I started with 2890 mar recently dropped to 3190 from 3.2k :3

I understand how you feel, but that situation you described happened to everyone no matter what level they are in the mmr bracket. You're not the only one who felt cheated by your teammates.

My game yesterday.

10-3-31 playing abaddon. These 2 carry threw left and right.

My dotabuff, @ 5.5k mmr.

I only play first pick -> random on this account. If i randomed support, well support is support. If i randomed carry, then i'm playing carry as first pick, these tryhards on solo mmr will always counter pick me. I can easily give excuse that i'm stuck here because i play random, gaining mmr is impossible. Truth is, the only reason i'm stuck here is because i'm lacking, i'm not good enough. It has nothing to do with me playing random.

keep win and lose and win and lose mmr almost no difference. if win is because of good team and if lose is either team has noobs or no carry at all end up I'm the one who carry the team.

My question is how to win the game?

Dude , i was calibrated at 2600 mmr but i managed to climb it to 3.1kby spamming support sand king in every game. Its not 100% winrate but its someway around 70%-80% winrate around it. The idea is the first item u buy is boots + ( ward or courier )..then u go to the lane with the lacking help in it be it trilane or off. then after u gank(once u are level 3 with 2 points in sandstorm) whether its successful or not u go to the jungle and stack camps.Remember to not farm it straightaway because u may lose some stack in other camp while u are farming. after u got 3/4 stacks in 2 camps farm it and rush blink. After u got the blink u just make the play . Remember to aim the low hp target once u get ur ulti .

here i provide u my dotabuff link for reference My dotabuff

What I did in 2.8 was by playing support/semi-support. Lion/Ogre/Alleria/Centaur. Cause what my friends told me was no matter how shit your carries' skills are, if the team gets a very experienced support that can disrupt enemy farms and make your team carries fat, you will be more likely to win.

But hey it aint so bad, climbed to 3.2 in 2 days or so, then was forced to play carry for some games (rusty skills) then dropped to 3.15.

One of the main things I noticed in this tier is that supports wont really go harass the shit out of opponents. They don't stack camps for carries, they rarely pull/double pull. They rarely roam around. They don't ward ancients to prevent spawns. They don't deward even if there is an obvious ward placed there. Hard carries (not mid) usually don't gank until they get their lvl2 ulti. Jungles are rarely warded for ambushes. Smokes are never seen to be bought.

And another thing that I noticed is that teams usually stick like glue to push towers. So usually when I see people picking Tide/Enigma/ES/BeastMaster or anything with an AOE stun, I already know what to pick. Carries don't buy bkb until maybe 30-40mins into the game so magic disables are very useful before that mark, unless you encounter a pro Naix.

Just to add on, maybe its just me, I've never seen a Tinker/Puck/SandKing or any blink stunners (Slardar and Centaur especially) play using shift combo in this tier smile.gif Good Luck!

Don't chase your rating down the rabbit hold. Re-examine your play and improve from there.

I've been playing a lot more with lower rated players, and many losses have taught me what parts of my game I need to improve on so that I can carry them to victory. My main account may have tanked closed to -400 party rating points over the last few months, but as a result my solo rating on my smurf has gone up to almost 5.2k now. The best piece of advice I can give you is this - add players from different skill brackets. Learn from the good ones, practice with the not so good ones. Take what you observe from a better player and apply that to carry the lesser ones.
