ya the pcb mounted one usually very hard to find or more expensive haha thats why i am asking to see is the pcb worth the price
*
Really ? I've only purchased my switches from 7Bit. The pcb & plate mounted are the same price.
And that was only because the switches I ordered from mechanicalkeyboards was not delivered to me, for some reason the switches reached the UK but wasn't delivered to me and got sent back to the USA. >_>
Where do you guys source your switches anyways ? laugh.gif

Anyone notice bending the metal leaf in the switch affects the switch feeling?

When i was opening up my switch i accidentally bended 1 of the metal leaf on a cherry mx blue and it feels like a linear switch now with click lol. And i find it pretty nice actually.

Yeap, it does. When I first lubed my clears, I accidentally bend a few pins. Now the switches doesn't have the bump to it. It's not what I wanted but I don't have the tools to change them. lel.
So I have to live with it for now. But beware, like one of my switch I think I bend the metal leaf too much, it doesn't register types anymore. laugh.gif

From taobao the price varies but cheapest is RMB3.5 per switches for plate and 4.5 for PCB so if i were to take 90
(P) RMB 315 = rm172 (PCB)RMB405=RM221
so there is a lot of difference in a large quantity

i was reading the the description saying cherry dont produce pcb so often there fore the price LOL

Not recommended at all if you're going to get tactile or clicky switches
