Guys, have any of you guys ever soldered your own LEDs (replace or so)? I'm so lazy to send mine DS3 for warranty plus I can't live without it. What's the risk of soldering? Will damage the whole board permanently?

Risks are damage your board or components.

If lazy send, then use per normal without the LED.
If LED is too important to you, then try to solder DIY, or send back to warranty.
Maybe some good soul here will help you to solder if you buy them a coffee. Maybe. sweat.gif

level 3.
based on this video, it is inaccurate.
it does not shows whether keycaps rattle or not when mounted, also it does not demonstrate whether the keycap will stuck due to stabilizer (less likely happen)

my piece of advice: prepare the stabs, mount the plate, and put the switches to each stabilizer, mount keycaps and test whether it is smooth.

It's (risk) inversely proportional to your confidence level and skills.

Hmm I'm not sure what type of wire is suitable, but to save hassle i just replace it by using plate-mount type wire since it is straight.

Hmm alright then. Maybe ill Just use the 7x stab. I have like two tsangan kits that have not been touched before anyways. Lol thanks again buddy.

Is the Corsair K70 with Blue Switch a good choice for a first time user? Always loved Corsair's design and the palm rest is a BIG factor in the purchase biggrin.gif

I always thought they cost a lot more, only to realise the K70 is around RM400 ish...

Wait a second, if I select blue switches, I get blue backlight? If so, I'd definitely get the Red because red backlit is just so awesome
