QUOTE(doomdoom @ Jan 20 2015, 10:24 AM) yes i believe so...especially for those working at KL/PJ/Damansara area...can just stop by at nearest MRT station and take it to the work place... hope so, but i am not that optimist on that, most of the stations along grand saga are beside the highway and beside the highway exits, the traffic might build up at the stations and extend to the highway |

QUOTE(Palmwalker001 @ Jan 20 2015, 10:19 AM) I think by 2017 after MRT in operation the traffic condition in KL-Sg Long area will be much more better. There are 3 MRT Stations nearest to Sg Long & BMC ie BTHO, Bukit Dukung & Taman Koperasi.Else it would be futile. Please be informed that Bukit Dukung (ie Balakong/Batu 11) has no parking facilities. For shuttle bus, don't know the authorities will bring back the Mini Bus or not, sometimes I do miss the Pink bus. |

Each train, which will be driverless, is made up of four cars, with each car capable of carrying around 300 passengers ie 1,200 passengers per train or 20,400 passengers per hour, even at 70% efficiency still help a lot in reducing traffic jam. |

Nice analysis, i think mrt coverage is better a lot compare to lrt. Mrt almost cover most of the commercial location which have high working force...Based one train every 3.5 minutes during peak hours that mean 17 trains per hour. QUOTE(LD Jr @ Jan 20 2015, 08:53 AM) The traffic condition is getting worst in the evening (after work/school) near to silk highway Sg Long's exit and old road (after Honda Showroom and near to Petronas). Can see the long q for both roads... very stressful very morning queueing at BMC This post has been edited by greenmoon: Jan 20 2015, 06:42 PM |

QUOTE(greenmoon @ Jan 20 2015, 06:41 PM) Do you notice there is a red signboard set up at BMC entrance on road closure.By Feb 2015, the traffic will be better after vehicle from inner road not allow to turn direct to highway or go straight, they need to u-turn in BMC. With this the green light can set longer i suppose. This post has been edited by Palmwalker001: Jan 20 2015, 06:50 PM |
