QUOTE(Palmwalker001 @ Dec 15 2014, 03:27 PM) Developer build the guardhouse and linear garden but most palm trees planted by developer are dying, as such residents used their own fund to replace them with over 40 palm trees. ya. that's my point if the resident community strong enough, the things will turn good. All other facilities mentioned are by residents. the palm walk looks better a lot compare to some strata gated and guarded project which the residents refuse to pay maintenance fee... |

QUOTE(OPT @ Dec 23 2014, 08:45 AM) Too many trees, too many illegal signboards, too many work to remove those illegal signboard >>>> save money yes..should just plant some flower trees...like those in mahkota cheras...so that no more illegal advertisement board on the tress..but palm trees is one of the singature for sg long...too bad the property agents misused them.......Maybe plant flower trees? the right thing to do is to contact those agents who put the advertisement board and put legal action on them...not cut the palm trees... |

QUOTE(Palmwalker001 @ Jan 2 2015, 05:36 PM) Yup agree too many red brick houses also boring, SHL should come out with other non red brick design such as English traditional design (black & white) or colonial design (straits settlement) or European continent fashion etc. there are only 2 types of design by SHL in sg long..red bricks and black/white designBut most importantly SHL need to serious upgrade their workmanship. |

QUOTE(petlu28 @ Jan 14 2015, 02:59 PM) Just call Project Manager. He say wait developer sell all the house first then residents will setup committee. Then is up to residents want to tighten the security or not. Regarding the lake developer still will take care 2 years after that will handover to MPKJ. as usual SHL style...basically they will wash hand after sell their project... |

QUOTE(Palmwalker001 @ Jan 14 2015, 03:06 PM) That means can jog there lah, this is confirm non G&G. there is a water retention pond at palm walk...if RA can spent some money to beautify this pond..it should a quite a nice place....plant some nice landscape trees/flowers along surrounding the pond...some fish or swan in the pond... To respect the privacy of residents, I wont drive there just go there on foot. |

so the opening for the new chinese primary school at sg loong will cause traffic more jam or not?
less sg long residents travel out to balakong or cheras area to sent their kids to school but more parents frm balakong area will sent their kids to this school |

QUOTE(Palmwalker001 @ Jan 19 2015, 03:20 PM) Based on the link, there are at least 1,500 students from Sg Long & BMC study in SR C Batu 11, SR C Yu Hua & SR C Balakong, causing traffic jam every morning. i think after school open at sg long, it will cause more jam if there are students come to study from other area.. http://mykampung.sinchew.com.my/node/336131 right now most of the sg long parents/school van pick up student and drive to balakong/kajang/cheras school before 6.30am.... imagine the school open at sg long..the students from other area reach sg long before 7am...after drop the students, they need to out frm sg long..and that time most likely it's 7am peak hour... |

QUOTE(Palmwalker001 @ Jan 19 2015, 03:33 PM) There are vacancy left for students in other area in SR C Batu 11, Batu 9, Balakong etc after SR C Sg Long open, parents around that area will send their children to the above school rater than go all the way to SR C Sg Long logically thinking. but i remember someone share the news before, this sg long school will open vacancy for the students at other area as well for the 1st year operation... |

QUOTE(Palmwalker001 @ Jan 20 2015, 05:59 PM) Of course nothing is perfect, however since MRT not yet in operation it will be unfair we prejudge them. Nice analysis, i think mrt coverage is better a lot compare to lrt. Mrt almost cover most of the commercial location which have high working force...Based one train every 3.5 minutes during peak hours that mean 17 trains per hour. Each train, which will be driverless, is made up of four cars, with each car capable of carrying around 300 passengers ie 1,200 passengers per train or 20,400 passengers per hour, even at 70% efficiency still help a lot in reducing traffic jam. |

QUOTE(Palmwalker001 @ Jan 19 2015, 08:56 AM) Ya, I also wonder why MPKJ never dismantle the fence between SL6 & SL 10 as well as the fence prevent car and passenger enter via Persiaran SL6A. Both of them obstructing traffic and not compile with BOMBA requirement and PERANCANG requirement. There are numerous complaint lodged about these but no action/enforcement by MPKJ. ya..the fence between SL6 and SL10 block the cars to enter persiaran SL6A, so those live at SL10 and SL11, they only can use jalan SL11/2 ans SL11/5 to in/out, right? |
