Interested in this headphone as I can get the price for around RM570++, not sure it is suitable for my taste.. I prefer neutral and flat response without any colorations.

Sorry about that, lol.
Okay umm, I've never had a K240 so I can't comment much but reading around, reviews etc, it's a pretty airy and neutral headphone without any coloration.

Hey guys, AKG cans owner reporting in. Just purchased the K518DJ. Waiting for it to arrive. I can't wait to test it, I hope I made the right choice on buying it. This is my first step to becoming an audiophile. Any good tips on what I should do or purchase? I usually listen to music on my laptop or my phone. From what I read about, I would need a DAC/Amp to boost the sound quality. So guys, any help?

AKGs, consider a desktop amp. You might need some bass by higher current amps.

AKG is quite revealing. The first thing is to rip your music into high quality formats by ORIGINAL CDs. The next if you feel the bass is not up to your stomach, which AKGs sometimes are, consider an amp that could do a low frequency pick up.

Add an amp will boost the bass even the headphone not good in bass?

Using AKG 77 now.

Right about that. Just collected the can this afternoon. Went back home to test it for a few songs and my god! I just found sound heaven! By far the best soundwaves that came through my ears man! I can't imagine what higher end cans sounds like. So bro, is the e7 enough to drive the K518DJ? I'm thinking of getting one. You're selling it right?
