Just bought an AKG K340 from a Headfi-er recently! Totally different beast from the K701!

Hey guys, do u all know any AKG service center in KL? I have a AKG k26p/k414p and the problem that im facing now is the earpad sponge is pilling off the ear piece plastic. Look at the attachment to understand better.

Im not sure whether i can stick it back wif UHO glue or not, and i dunno where is AKG service center located. Please advice me if u guys had face tis problem.

take a look at the conga player's mic.. a friend said it is an akg mic but dunno what type/model..

can anyone tell me what model is that? and better if could provide me link for further info and also price and where to buy it..

about akg headphone hor... who had tried k271 & k272? really wanna know the comment from headphone GURU ...

i own an AKG k601 for music listening, and now am hoping to get a headphone (the type that cups the ears) for purely gaming.

i will probably hook it up to a PS3 so it would be great if it had more bass.

it should be same signature sound..it just change color n earpad pad only (cant remember). i dont recommend this model (n akg 240 series too..) coz sound kinda boring (aka flat)..

wanna bass?? plz stay away from akg..akg bass i think kinda "polite" bass...maybe audio technica a series good in bass (like a500..closed type..ask madman )

I agree that the bass is little bit wierd but it depend on people taste as well. too polite not punchie no uhm for me....

akg bass is acceptable lah... anyway wat akg u using ? i planning to get one to listen jazz , new age and classic

i do not own akg headphone but i do listen K701 before. compare with other brand i still prefer Audio Technica W1000 for fast mode music, My HD650 is more to slow mode for my classic.

Anyone knows how much does it cost for a new pair of K701 pads?

looks like very rare people using akg headphone ... most people including friends around me use grado or senn... anybody know where can test akg headphone ?

You need to look rich and you can try go in Asia sound see whether they let you test the K701 or not.

hi guys, new to this thread...i am insanely poisoned by AKG 701... .. by its looks firstly then after audition this tuesday in one audio shop Low yat plaza GF...i have gone crazy ...the sound stage, the clarity...arh...

bro kernah, u may want to go to this small audio shop next to desa home theater in LY plaza, they placed one AKG 701 in front the shop display glass...and make u the boss is quite friendly, may be i bought few hundred bucks of audio accessories la..

Jes checked on ebay, the price is pretty attractive to ship to KL...

wondering any1 bought this can online before ?

maybe yes..maybe not..depend what on da shelf..usually they put normal range..high range have to ask..
