i've just read the graduate requirement in kpmg's website under 'careers'. it stated tht graduates, final year degree holders and ACCA finalist are welcome to apply.
Can anyone confirm with me tht they do employ acca finalist ( not graduate ) and what is the salary offered?

Let me clarify for you. They do employ ACCA finalist or even not finalist. They will also bond those who have few papers left or even you left only one paper. Don't bother much about the requirement in their website. It is for the sake of formality. Anyway, it really depends your luck cause I have know someone joining accounting firms (big 4) both finalist and not finalist. The salary offered is depends on which accounting firm you apply. I believe it should be the same as freshies.

Hopefully this shed some light in the darkness. rclxms.gif thumbup.gif

Generally those who take ACCA don't have degree. Unless you change path. RM 1800 is for Diploma.

Anyway I am just sharing the information I know. I might be wrong. Correct me if I am wrong.

For your question, I would answer I am a student.

I sent in my resume to PWC via e-mail last few days. How do I know that they've actually received my application? Am wondering if they send back any notification letters to the applicants. tongue.gif

Thanks! smile.gif

I guess they will tend to get back to you a few days or the latest before 2 weeks through phone to inform you that you have been shortlisted. Else, in most cases when applications are deemed to be unsuccessful, an e-mail will be sent to your inbox as a form of notification. So do keep checking your phone for good news/your inbox for the not-so-good news. Always keep trying! Good luck! smile.gif

I am waiting as well. But according to one of my friends, PwC may take up to 2 months to get all the applications filtered.

I doubt PWC is that inefficient, I was called for assessment 1 week after I submitted my resume through our 'office tour'

Good for you smile.gif But do you know if they at least notify applicants who are not shortlisted?

EDIT: Oh ya, which position did you apply for? And did you take up the offer?
