Hi everybody, I need advise from u all
I dunno whether to reject IBM offer or not as i'm going to attend last interview.
Reason of rejecting is they dun have study leave, work as bz as big4, expose in account field only, as they said closing and opening month & quarter year will be peak.

The main reason behind is I need little time only for revise and taking exam. As u know ACCA fall on jun & dec which fall on IBM peak. Most audit firm can have study leave b4 the exam.

If big4 hired, i will not think twice. But dunno IBM can expose much like big4 or not? Lot of my seniors worked there for 1 year then left.

and like me i m fast coz i just need the approval from my director. if you, i think need the manager/ senoir / a bunch of ppl to evalute then only sent for approval...

Y dun u pay a visit to K which same building with IBM

i think with ur qualification should b no prob to enter big4 gua

there are a lotz more good ppl besides HR.. LOL

Did anyone knows when the PWC's next assessment fer an interview?? If i send a resume now, how long i must wait fer an interview?

I think they will call you up if you have been shortlisted within a few days (or even up to weeks) after you sent them your resume. You'll need to sit for the assessment first before proceeding on to the interview (which normally happens a week later) if only you've passed your assessment prior to the interview. Good luck!

hey does anyone know what they meant by malaysian final year student in the graduate requirement to apply for an associate position in ey?
i browsed thru their website n their minimum requirement is malaysian final year student/degree/prof quali
whereas in kpmg, the requirement stated acca finalist encouraged to apply

3rd yr student... last sem... can start applying for Audit Assosiate (Jr Position) ... KPMG--- beside IBM.. TV3... One U there... If u're a finalist Acca... go ahead n try apply.. no harm applying...

i juz completed my final 2 papers yesterday. but result will only be out on August. so if i apply now as a finalist, do u know how much normally will these firms offer? sum said rm1800-1900

KP offers rm2700 - after revision. The old rate was 2400 i think.

ACCA should be higher as u dun really need to take any bonds with them.. mayb slighty Rm100-200 higher than e normal rate... that's wad my senior said

Wont be much different. It should be around 2k plus. Almost impossible for it to be 1.8k - 1.9k ... too little. ACCA Grads themselves are getting 2.7k i think ... The jump wont be that high.

kpmg does offer a position for finalist n from what i heard its around 1800 to 1900. jus wanna confirm bout tht
