About the UCL vs Europa prize money, this might give you some idea (from 2012/13 season)
- Every win in europa group stage earns you 0.2m, while every draw in UCL group stage gives 0.5m (win - 1m)
- By only participate in UCL already pocketed you 8.6m (presumely you lost every match in group stage), while going all the way to win the Europa league will get you 9.9m.

As for the TV (market) pool, Europa's is only 1/10 of UCL's.

Sooner or later all football clubs will change their name to "X" FC which FC stand for Football Corporations. To much money at stake.

Guys, what do you all think about Theo Walcott??I remember Wenger bought him and said that he has similarity with theirry Henry,to be honest he had improved a lot, from football analysis saying that he doesn't have a football brain at all to now a player whose good at positioning and also his pace...but to say he is another theirry Henry is too good a comparison,Walcott is now a player of Arsenal since 2006,so he's a senior I really hope he can develop into a very full forward just like van persie, who help us score a lot of goals at the end of his Arsenal career

I think sumhow Sanchez did affecting the overall performance, by far Sanchez is performing like one-man army, if u notice he passing successful rate is quite low compared to other, and quite slow as well most of the time when making passing decision. This part somehow affecting the style we are playing previous season, quick passing, due to Sanchez maladjustment on quick passing it do somehow affecting the overall operation. We didn't change our style because of Sanchez, but Sanchez incompatible did affect our style. I remember his stats on passing rate (this season by far) is 50% successful only. And Sanchez are allowed to move to any position, and aggressively too, which is what Ramsey doing last season, and this somehow squeezing the space of Ramsey for attacking, which indirectly affecting Ramsey performance this season.

But doesn't mean Sanchez doesn't suit us, he still not yet fully integrated into our passing quick passing strategy yet but able to do so much contribution, he just need more time in fully able to work around with the other teammates.

Podolski can play at central position but not as lone striker. Also we have a much balanced overall striker ahead of him.
He look good against Gala bcoz Gala is d only team this season that went against us, both 1st n 2nd legged, with high defensive line, let our rythme flow n open spaces at d back. We loves oppenents that defend high n lot of open spaces. We dint get that kind defending in EPL matches.
Welback 1st n 2nd at Emirates against them, exposed their high defensive line. Sanchez goal was open space at d left inside d box, unchallenge, they just stood there.
Gala dint pack d defense n left open space at d back for Welback's hatrick goal. The same with Podolski 2nd goal. His 1st was same like Sanchez, open space n nobody close him down.
Ramsey 1st was counter attacking, exposing their high defensive line too. Perhaps exception here was Ramsey wondervolley. Everybody were expecting it'll goes wide except for GK, he saw it bend inside.
I wonder if nobody send "how to play against Arsenal" blueprints to them? laugh.gif

Rumors on a new signing of defensive midfielder is roaming the web now...

I honestly dunno this guy, but I'm always shudder when hearing overrated Brazilian players.

Mathieu Debuchy is likely to start out of position at centre-back in his first Premier League game for three months against Newcastle United on Saturday amid a renewed Arsenal defensive crisis.
Despite being rested from the midweek Champions League tie against Galatasaray, Laurent Koscielny is still almost certainly out with a calf injury and Nacho Monreal is definitely unavailable due to a foot injury.
With Calum Chambers suspended after his red card against Stoke City, it all leaves Per Mertesacker as the only remaining senior centre-back.
Wenger could theoretically select one of his academy players alongside Mertesacker – either Isaac Hayden, who himself has recently had an ankle injury, or 17-year-old Stefan O'Connor – but is understood to favour Debuchy playing at centre-back against his former club.
problem in defence again.. sad.gif
