the symptom have been describe on the last page. not the engine the movement of the car at slow speed.

yup, that is the 2 things that you felt due to the problem. After driving longer hours coming back from office, the pull back feeling still there, not as bad, but the sound not longer there.

your EB have the issue and got it resolved ?

Hi today i got the best fc figure since 1 year ago owning it. 600km with 90% highway using primax 95.
Question, is it really the best exora can do?

of late I notice many in the forum have engine mounting replaced, upon complain regardg steering, vibration , gbox noise . i suspect the engine mounting has design or manufacture issue and SC are replacing them . I got mine replaced because of gearbox humming noise, it did solve the problem. A colleague also have his replaced even when he made no complaints.

Joining you guys soon (this is soooo exciting). Getting the premium version.

A couple of questions, not sure if anyone asked before as I couldn't find anything via search. Just wanted to listen to your opinions (no right or wrong answer).

1. Do you guys tint the car beside the original colour tint that came along with the car? If yes, how much is it and any recommendations? (Like how I got recommended to get the Exora from Vincent Lim)

2. Do you put a layer of spray / dunno what is it called on the Exora? Something like to protect the paint and might need to go back and touch up. My question is - is it worth the investment? Will my Exora still be shiny after 7 years? Or would it be more sensible to respray the car after 7 years?

3. How is the DVD player on the Exora? Do you change it to an aftermarket one?

So that's the problem eh. I never can put a finger on it, but there's something definitely weird with the vibrations and various noises around the dashboard and steering. I thought it's normal being the usual "eh kereta proton pakai kejap je dh bunyik sana sini" so I didn't say anything. Will tell them next time I come for service to test my luck. Hopefully it's something fixable like replacing the engine mounting.

For the gear box mounting, that actually dont cause the vibration to the cabin, the cause is that when you slowly accelerate and let go the accelerator, the car do actually pull back / jerk and also a "keak" sound.

For the first one sure is the gearbox mounting issue.

For the 2nd one, dont know what causing it, possible do with that. If the car under warranty then just let SC know and let then fix it.

wonder anyone encounter, while pressing brek where gear on P position, there is some kind of sound and can feel vibration touching on the gear stick. Wonder its normal as never feel it before...

I do understood about the mechanism but its just doesn't feel normal.... as after almost a year owning the bold, just felt that recently!

Yeah, I've heard of that but I don't use the ISOFIX in the Teana also. I just make sure the child seat is properly secured at four sides to the seat belt, and it's already very tight, which means the same applies in the Exora too!

yesterday my exora cfe 2013 batch have overheat with beep sound, open engine bay and notice turbo coolant hose have unplugged.

luckily that the plastic hose not broken, i replug back and refill 5 liter of water, but worry the problem will occur again.

if you are still on stock gtradial tyre then most probably yes. the tyre is good when new, but degraded badly over time. the rubber hardens pretty badly, and causing uneven wear. then the sound will be quite enbearable ...
