Speaking about tyres, can I use the stock recommended tyre pressure for 215/50/17? Since it's slightly lower profile, should a higher pressure be used?

Yea bro,my rear view mirror (got reverse camera) housing cracked itself.i asked The club members and most of them have this issue with 2012 and 2013 CFE premium model.i complainted to proton they can't sorry can't claim and they glue it back.but now it came out again.
Yeah, the front tires need maintenance every week.i pump 40 for all but the front one will drop to like 20-18..checked all the four tires also no hold, screw or anything.the rear ones will drop to 30-34 like that.
*
40? u sure bro.... I usually put around 31 only. mind to share why eb need to put so high pressure? thx in advance!

Better take your rim together with tyre to check for air leakage. Shouldn't go down so fast so much. But y your pressure so hi

would it be too high so its too pressure and air lost very fast. As i only put 31, after 2 week pump again, its drop to 28-29. However, I did asked the tire shop ppl and sc personnel, they said around 31 should be the best. Anyway, i will try 33-34 and guess might be too low pressure and caused high fuel consumption too... but definitely not up to 40 that high loh... LOL

guys...just to clarify... the variance between premium and super premium is just the body cladding only right? and it is 5K price difference.

who ever have had this car for more than 3 years, are you experiencing squeaking sounds?

I had bad experience with my previous proton with all kind of sounds..
they said that's the package when u buy a proton, u get that sounds package together smile.gif

but the latest specs of exora seems promising.. at the same time i am aiming for 2010 toyota wish.

appreciate your comments guys.

check the door trim there for the recommended tire pressure. It says 37 if carrying many passengers. So, I just go ahead with it.

mine's about 10KM/ltr. so RM0.17/KM. could be less if light footer. hmm.gif

I don't know how much to replace the turbo. Saw on mudah brand new unit is 1.6k.
Not sure about Serena. At that price, it's 2nd hand. If in good condition, I'd say Serena running a simpler engine could cost less. I may be wrong.

May I ask how often your engine fan still spinning after switch off the engine?

My EB about 2 months old, the fan usually still spinning after I switch off the engine even I drive for short distant. But now opposite thing happened, for the past week, the fan stop completely after I switch off the engine...is it normal after we drive it for about 2 months?

Mine mostly depends on the surrounding temperature..

It almost never spins during afternoons and warm nights. But it certainly always spins during a cold morning.

It spins when the engine is hot. Most likely after running in the engine for 2 months is not so 'tight' anymore thus less friction and heat.
