Anyone tried to put the spare tyre back to it's own place?
Kinda difficult right?

I am trading in my exora with nissan...getting 44 out of it. Not bad lah.
Mudah with prices that high is usually owner selling direct...that's why price is high.

Anyone hv tried this?

I got a quotation for that Headlamps and it costs RM1399 from Maxaudio, Cheras.

Sorry, but I have to correct you a little bit.
Yes smaller Capacity engine on the roadtax, but due to turbo nature, it powers like a 2.0L (and beyond) and drinks like a 2.0L if the turbo is heavily used. Thats why on highway, it saves more than it drives on city.
Cause during low load/acceleration , it works like a 1.6L. But on heavy load /turbo, it works like a 2.0L.

Think of this metaphor..like a cute kitten which can evolve into a angry fire breathing lion when you ask for it. And then later changes back to a cuddly kitten.
Eats 2000CC for breakfast (sorry no offense to your Teana) when you demand for it

BTW dont worry, the Exora fuel tank is smaller than Teana.

Hey Alexei, thank you for your kind words as well as listing down the potential issues that I may face in future (uh oh). The Exora is indeed a new unit that came a week-plus back and I have to thank the dealer for letting me test-drive that MPV, and subsequently keeping it for my own purchase!

And speaking of the head unit, I see some accessories shop representatives displaying OEM Proton touchscreen radios over on Mudah.my. Are those recommended or should I go for something more well-known instead (my regular shop, ACP Auto in SS2, has loads of such head-units, btw)?

The built-in DVD player is definitely a great touch for a car that's perfect for long-distance trips, together with the cruise control, and the display is very sharp, when I tested it yesterday night (the video is from a Barney show, by the way - my son's favorite! ).

Sound system is also crystal clear as the player utilizes the surround speakers of the Exora (one on each door) via a pre-set frequency that can be seen as 88.3 FM on the HU, becoming some sort of radio station!

Oh, and did I forget to mention that the DVD player also has a remote control, as a most convenient feature?

Hahaha, you are so right, but if I'm not wrong, my brother's Savvy has a slot just above the glove compartment to place a tissue box. Of course, the Exora has safety-first features, which means the same tissue box spot has been replaced by the airbag!

And speaking of tissue box, mine is right above the clock, and at the center of the dashboard (can be seen in the picture of the little girl's sad face on the DVD screen, haha! ). Better not block the airbag with the tissue box anyway!

Why not bring your own oil and parts to P1SC?
Just pay them labor charges only?

checking with those that already expired their EB CFE warranty period, where do you guys service your EB? (those staying in KL/Selangor)..any reliable and good quality worksyop to recommend?

for those near puncak jalil, go to SRS Tyre services. I'd been with them since 5 years ago and they did not dissapoint.
Price not bad and you can bring your own parts.

CFE is quite new in the market, if engine issue I would get a quote from proton first then check outside.
Might be btter if you know any service center mechanic who is doing part time.

Shop above they are using genuine oil Penzoil, not that famous in malaysia. I just bring my own Petronas/Shell from station outlet and not from spare parts seller.

Oh this shop also i always go, workmanship is good, parts are goods, big shop and many mechanics . But since its good the price also above average

Hahaha, you're lucky there, my friend. And the Exora has also been doing well for me too, although my usage is super-heavy since I've already gone past the 7000km mark in only two-plus months of usage!

Not just because I use the Exora daily, but also due to numerous outstation trips all this while - to Resorts World Genting (twice), Ipoh, Johor Bahru, and Singapore!

Servicing - since the Exora is still new, I have it serviced at the Proton Service Center (with the only one done thus far being the 1000km service)

Already changed mine. But i do outside sc because out of warranty. 5 liter of cvt fluid and i didnt replace the filter. Rm200+-

Shiawase service and EME mechanic near my house and already more than 4 years dealing with them.
