last two days ago..something happened to my ride....suddenly the ABS icon at the display panel appeared after engine start and remain there till i shut down the engine. Anything serious? Anyone of you experienced it before? If not mistaken i read last time, it's due to the dirt stuck at the ABS sensor? Or the ABS itself already capult? Anyone know the real root cause of the issue? Appreciate your sharing...Thanks in advance...

We discussed extensively just recently. If under warranty, send to SC for diagnosis. Otherwise, prepare to change ABS sensor.
If you have OBD dongle, read the error code.

One desperate for business shop quoted me RM299 each for EP200.
Those tyres did not have UTGQ marking, so it appeared suspicious.

carloompunkOlder batch had some luck, after changing the steering rack. Mine is one of them, among others.
The problem is steering rack mounting failure.

After you got yours fixed, check the front tyre wear. If it has uneven wear, rotate with rear wheels before alignment to make sure it is fixed. Unevenly worn tyres at the front will also pull the steering to one side.

Since the hot topic now seems to be oil cooler hose, take note that our CVT cooler hose are similar construction, too.

Supposed so, but specifically PATCO supplied parts.
Refer to attachment, it seems the oil cooler assembly is the culprit, not the hoses themselves.
Maybe a coincidence but if not mistaken, the hose burst is the problem here, the oil cooler is another thing in question.

2die4The stock hose has rubber lining inside, and it supposedly soften when heated and that could prevent oil leak at the joint.
Problem it appears now, the oil hose expands over time and bursts earliest at 40k. Stock hoses are pre-formed so some corners are thinner than the rest.

YouDontKnowMyNameYou can do this to the oil cooler hose to prevent it from bursting... but not from leaks.

Just went and tried to check the oil cooler hose on my EB. It's pretty hard to take a good look at it, plus it's quite difficult to get my phone camera in there to snap a pic.

This is the best I've got. Looks like its still fine though.

in the morning yeah, the brake tend to screech due to karat/oxide on the rotor.

anyone already changed or scheduled to change the recall item (something related to hose)?

mine is scheduled 7th Mac. hope not too late. lol

i know they keep repeating to me only free change once. so maybe this free change is to lure us to change to a faulty hose so that they can earn money?

Hello, planning to get exora premium this 2 month time. Would like to get some advices on the car.

1) how reliable is the car?
2) read so many problem with the car are 2015 n 2016 batch still having this issue
3) Recently i seldom see new exora in road. What happen?.
4) price is about 74k...this price can get honda city too. In delima.
