Hey guys!

May I know anyone here who got a scholarship for the pilot course? Mind to share your experience here? Like which airline sponsored you, how you go through the tedious interview and filter process....tongue.gif

KTU did advertise the paper...My bro is once a student there...he entered after SPM.

3 years training (military + academic), then u'll get Lieutenant. Then another 2 years for getting ur 'Wing' in PULATIBANG (Pusat Latihan Terbang, KTU) where my bro is now...he just finish his Lieutenant last year. Hope that he'll get his 'wing next year'. In PULATIBANG, u'll given choices whether u want to be fighter pilot (Fighter Jet) or transport pilot (Charlie, Nuri etc.)

My friend's dad earn rm30k per month after 20 years working (that was 5 years ago). IINM, a fresh pilot should be getting rm5k.

Both figure is for MAS but im not really sure for fresh pilot - my friend was reluctant to tell me his salary tongue.gif

RM5k?hahaha..who old u this?Even the basic for 2nd officer(fresh pilot ) is not even reach Rm3k la...dont simply put this figure. And yes,its a big money for a pilot but u cant jump from Fo to captain just like that. Its depends on ur flying hours and avaibality...... tongue.gif

Where in Jandakot do u plan to do ur training ? Royal Aero Club ? If u want to pay i suggest u go try applying for Singapore Flying College as self-sponsored cadet. After that u have a better chance of getting a contract with them. Only thing I am not sure if they are taking in Malaysian private candidates.

biggrin.gif free advertising for SFC. lol. hope they pay you for that. are you done with L45? don't get to see you in STC

and he's right. better chance in SFC than other flying school
