QUOTE(arshad @ Feb 11 2009, 01:15 AM) Can... the requirements to enter flying schools privately are lowerQUOTE(billyjean1982 @ Feb 21 2009, 04:08 PM) Not really straight As, classmate of mine whose graduate 1999, spm with agg 21, with physics C3 , Add Maths, C6, Maths A1 also can get in. Now they're minimum requirements are B4 for Physics, Maths and English. So pretty much it gets harderHe is FO now |

QUOTE(rey5516 @ Feb 22 2009, 02:17 PM) is swimming a requirement in a pilot??haha...coz i might need to learn if i'm gonna apply..... nah, not needed. Medical knowledge? I don't know anything about that, but I'm still able to enroll to a flying school continue with the training and can anyone tell me wat medical knowledge is needed as i have read in the beginning of the starting post.... QUOTE(kb2005 @ Feb 22 2009, 04:10 PM) Physics is important but not a must. Maybe if applying for airline sponsorship yes, since competition is really tough. My friend(private) who was in Art Stream is now doing his training seems to be coping well |

QUOTE(kb2005 @ Feb 23 2009, 07:04 AM) Which airline your friend in ? If without physic, i think you can only enter private pilot class! Correct me if i'm wrong! He's still in training course and doing it privately. He already has his PPL, passed all his CPL papers and finishing up his ATPL papers. He's currently flying for CPL now.Flying schools requirements are very much lower than airline cadets Here is one of the requirements to enroll into a flying school taken from my e-mail QUOTE DCA min requirement;: age 17yrs old with SPM 5 credits including English, Maths & Science |

QUOTE(visionary1993 @ May 10 2009, 02:38 PM) Laszlo, I'm in KLIFAWhich flying school are you in now? - Going to try for cadet pilot sheme in the coming years or going private myself. I dont know which one is the better among the 4-5 schools because i saw on MFA, GGIFA, HM, APFC websites their facilities and all but im still clueless Last i heard its 163 cm. I dont know about now. I suggest you to visit here http://forum.flydamnit.com/flying-academy/ Infos regarding flying schools are discussed there. You can read the threads for each flying schools to get to know more about them. Can ask any questions that you are not sure about. Just don't create a noob thread or I'll flame you |
