Make a call to customer service. They will give you the usual standard questions..i.e. reset modem etc. Tell them you done it and you are still experincing problems with timeouts. Ask for a change of port/ip address. They will give you the usual oh it will cost RM430 to move your IP which is a total BS. Demand a technician to come over. When the technician comes over show the horrible connection. I use PingPlotter. Request for port/ip change and the technician will gladly do so at no fee. I had a legitimate claim as I was getting pings of 1000+ on most sites with some cases of ERR generated from Pingplotter. Previously, I could only get 218 and 219 and not 60 IP now I continously get the IP 60.

Worked for me. Trick is to be courteous and not bark at them

Guess it would be hard to me as during weekdays I wont able to be at home as need to work and no one technical enough to do so in my house. As for the high ping cases, I guess I not as bad as your for having 1000+ ping on most site. Well thanks for the solution and I might give it a try maybe end of next month as having around 11 days off days next month.

yea meh? Downloaded this yesterday evening about 7ish via fileplanet. Not sure when it finished downloading as I was playing NWN2, installed it about 1am, and ran through 7 levels till about 2am. Deleted my installer though.

Can't the resolution go higher than 1024x768? It looks horrible on a 19" lcd...Those training text are really huge... Everyone seems to look the same as everyone else. Not sure how the game play (PVE) is like yet though... hope to make myself a cleric and see. Still can't believe I'm killing birds and turtles... whatever happen to all those evil mushrooms??!

You can increase the reso in the options menu (alt z)
Just switch the settings to "User Mode" so u can manually configure the stuff

If you going bow then Gaia is the class cause of the skills avaliable for bows. They shine after level 20 when you get the long bow, before that you be using the light bow. X-bow is the Asura and for that Lav_Ender can give you some input

Yup you can as there are some bow skill for cleric 2nd class job. There actually no restriction of weapon in the game as you can even wield staff as a warrior, but its just kinda pointless only as you dont have any staff skill as warrior

tried the System Mode.. It's locked at 1024x768... can't seem to go higher.


they have free download.. but need to wait 9mins or so for your turn to start.

Use a +4 staff and you increase your Minor heal then switch back to mace/sword

erm go menu->system->option

on top of tat screen theres a graphic option drop down choose user mode first then all

if i insist on using bow for cleric and since there are only bow skill at 2nd job, how do u guys recommend me to play???

Although you might be interested with range, i reccomend bow with gaia, they are strong after lvl 20, pve and pvp as well.

Asura Xbow is a little weak, but they got the highest attack speed, and not dual handed dagger. so pretty much compensate everything.. but the speel is boring for asura xbow, 3 nukes and a useless provoke.

So my suggestion is, go any class you like, but if you want to be able to do range, go gaia bow, if you want to be able to solo at higher level (50+) without depending on the dungeon grinding, go kahuna, with gaia bow, they are the only one seem to be able to solo grind after level 50.

If you insist on having cleric,go support first and wait for 2nd job b4 u change to bow.No point really using it now.

And as jen said,if u want range as of now,go with the gaia bow.

hmm.... my only tips so far is to go for kahuna, there can heal, can buff, can deal high damage, good critical skill and one of the few high level solo player....

Solve all the quest, run from town to town, you will only start grinding when you reach level 35 and above.....
