not much info on the charater and skills they have in the official website.....now thats some disappointment

Err... the grind only start after level 28, before that, just travel around and collect quest, and you will see you will level up in no time, at least is 100% easier that LC. I am already lvl 27 for the 1 weeks opening of the open beta. So as to compare to LC, which takes like months to level up... bleh.. ;p

Anyhow, this game will get more interesting after level 20, with new gear and skills, not to mention some quest which require you to take down bosses which is exterely strong! I like the way the whole guild team up to beat a boss, hard but in the end everyone solve the quest which gives like 16k exp! I like how the skill would motivate you keep leveling and solving quests to level up, there is just too much to explore, and even after level 30+, you might just be in the 10% of exploration of the whole rappelz world. There is dangerous places, town which you rather travel that tele, and also dungeons. The event is good to keep you coming back, from grinding event (achieving level 30 in 1 week), Gladiators event fighting level of bosses with your party, Guild and pvp fight event till lot more to come. Community is not bad at all, as if you join a nice guild, everyone will be willing to help especially on taking down the boss.

The real drawback would be the lagness, sometimes, the lagness was so bad that you cant even play at all, random dc happen too (due to server resetting), and there is still some skill bugs around, but hey this is a beta, so we wouldnt want to expect too much. If we can hang on to LC so long even thou the game was so boring, why not give rappelz a try!

All in all, a game which people start migrating from even WOW to rappelz!

The game is good but the problems lies with:

1. Bad connection with streamyx, I use my 3g phone as modem and no lag at night at all. Patch went through like a breeze.

2. Patch on my desktop with streamyx disconnects every so often and lag at night despite resetting modem.

3. They really need more servers to cater for the game cause once everyone connects the server can't handle the load

Haha sniper, somehow, i do think is true that the game was playing us more that we are playing the game. Hahaha.... but too bad, this is quite a good game since the last time we played LC, although i had yet to try the other like what you are playing, but in sense of grphic, i quit those cartoon anime look alike mmo long ago, lol.

Yeah, been troubled to play this early in the morning, till less sleep, but cant help it, although i really hope that our service of broadband would improved, especially handling server from oversea (never a problem playing local hosted game like LC).

Anyhow, will continue to enjoy Rappelz till i explored everything, and being in Harmonia guild is fun but too stress, cause there are already 4-5 member who hit level 40+. And dualshock is rite, we are start to be kiasu cause we miss out lot of event cause of low level. sad.gif That is why we try to get prepared before the seige dungeon come.... smile.gif

Its all dependent on your area in some areas you will never get a certain IP so doing 100 times ain't going to get u the ip. However, if you make enough noise to speak to supervisor your request will be entertained.  As for me I never use to get IP 60 but I made the complaint and they shifted me. If you can get the IP 60.48 range you should be okay to play. 60.53 is so so. Forget 218 and 219 at times they are unstable.

Make a call to customer service. They will give you the usual standard questions..i.e. reset modem etc. Tell them you done it and you are still experincing problems with timeouts. Ask for a change of port/ip address. They will give you the usual oh it will cost RM430 to move your IP which is a total BS. Demand a technician to come over. When the technician comes over show the horrible connection. I use PingPlotter. Request for port/ip change and the technician will gladly do so at no fee.  I had a legitimate claim as I was getting pings of 1000+ on most sites with some cases of ERR generated from Pingplotter. Previously, I could only get 218 and 219 and not 60 IP now I continously get the IP 60.

Worked for me. Trick is to be courteous and not bark at them
