QUOTE(TyroneS @ Nov 28 2014, 01:20 AM) google oppo n3, they put the fingerprint scanner at back of phone just like heart rate sensor on latest samsung s/note series, and it's just work like iphone scanner... tap and scan. Wow did not know that. Will check about it. But I really hope Samsung will fix the fingerprint scanner. Swiping is kinda hard.QUOTE(Calex @ Nov 28 2014, 01:29 AM) Among all the stock UI I've used I liked HTC's implementation best, looks really good with useful add-ons yet speedy. Current touchwiz UI is second. HTC never use or test it. HTC Sense is kinda good looking and based on video reviews it is quite fast. For my experience and ranking in speed:Huawei's Mate 7 does that too, apparently according to reviews its comparable in speed and accuracy to the iPhone's sensor. 1-Stock Android 2-Sony UI 3-MIUI 4-TouchWiz 5-iOS iOS 8 is the worst. The lags is so apparent on my iPad and the app loading is much more worse than iOS 6. TouchWiz for me still lags but it's still consider okay. |

QUOTE(nzonex @ Nov 27 2014, 07:59 PM) Read first page, all the details listed thereQUOTE(khainiz94 @ Nov 28 2014, 12:50 AM) Sony software is the best after Z series. Quite fast in everything. Before Z series a disaster. Previously owned Xperia S. The worst phone ever made. Always lags and app crashes. But when hold the Z3 last week, a lot of improvements. And nice design too. I switched from Xperia Z to Note 4. The phone which brought Sony back in the smartphone game served me very well for almost 2 years. Camera sucks balls though. My wife's older Samsung S3 takes better photos. Towards the end I was getting bored of the stock theme but at least it took me over a year before tiring of the ui. After switch to note 4, one thing i miss most is the peace of mind having a water resistant phone. But after started using Note 2 from my father, really change my perspective about Samsung. Really amazing screen and its S Pen. I previously dislike Samsung because of TouchWiz and its design. Then I use Note 3, the best phone ever. The S Pen is still more accurate than the Note 2 and always use it for writing notes. The best decision I have ever made. That is why after Note 4 is out I immediately bought it because of More sensitive S Pen and its best display. |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Nov 27 2014, 05:52 PM) I strongly disagree with this test report. It doesn't even state under what conditions was the phones tested Out of curiosity, are they using the same network? DRX settings make a big difference. I consider myself as a heavy users clocking 15GB this month and my Note Edge will last throughout the day until I get home and generally it still has 15-20% left. That would be around 10hrs.My personal experience with 80% on internet stuffs ( browsing, email, RSS, whatsapp, tweeter), ebooks n some YouTube videos Note 4 : SOT 6-7 hours Mate 7 : SOT 9-10 hours Ip6+ : usage 11-12 hours QUOTE(psyduck89 @ Nov 27 2014, 09:01 PM) It's Snapdragon 805This post has been edited by bysquashy: Nov 28 2014, 03:56 AM |

My finger print detection has always been bad. However it was a breeze on Mate7 ( just tap slightly) while erractic on ip6+ . No wonder HW CEO claim their finger print scanning is best among smartphones.Huawei's Mate 7 does that too, apparently according to reviews its comparable in speed and accuracy to the iPhone's sensor. |

Since after my 1st Nokia N85 with amoled, i like it much and i never escape from it nor nokia, N85 > N8 > N9 > Razr Maxx > Tab 7.7 > *Note 2 & 3* > Note 4 i already see amoled evolution & improvement on mobile so much from those dirt spot, purple tint, burning mark, over colored & hardly adjust low brightness and outdoor view. *not yet seen this on note 4 but i hope nothing will happned also* Also the pentile line up on note 1,3,4 is not good compare to S2/note 2 RGB Amoled, but it's ok since note 4 have so much pixel & density make u almost impossible to notice. *note 2 & note 3 were borrowed from friend, not buying it because the spen still not satisfy me while doing draw circle with most angle cannot detect * |

QUOTE(ahtom82 @ Nov 28 2014, 09:21 AM) Hmm, confirm that snapdragon is better than Exynos? I read many websites saying Exynos is faster and some say is blazing fast?!? I had absolutely no idea on this as I had yet to even touch the SD versionHowever mosts web reviews point to the Exynos being a better performer than the SD version. SD fans will find this hard to swallow. Anyway I am happy enough with the M'sian Exynos version. |

Both exynos and SD has it's own adv and disv. With little difference. While as for user. Some say SD is smooth for games others say exynos. I think it won't affect too much. |

QUOTE(ahtom82 @ Nov 28 2014, 09:21 AM) Hmm, confirm that snapdragon is better than Exynos? I read many websites saying Exynos is faster and some say is blazing fast?!? this is a debate that never ends. S805 vs Exynos, which is better?the answer is variable. there are occasions S805 can be faster than Exynos. the CDMA version note 4 i tested turns out to be slower than Exynos (as tested in Samsung center) and sometimes can be laggy. but after a fresh restart, S805 can be as fluid as Exynos. after that, i no longer getting lags but somehow application loading slows down (even slower a few 0.** seconds than my z ultra). if gaming performance, the Exynos is a total defeat. |
