Hi sifus. Is this considered as normal? Any tips on how to make my phone last longer? And how to disable bloatware? I considered lucky if I could get a straight 6hours of sot. Else only 4-5 hours. 40m on battery with 37min screen on time takes up to 10%. I already close my sync and location. Help

I think you should let it to 100% to reset the counter. Else will continue the timer. If 11 hours on batter is believable. But 11 hours sot is hard. Apple maybe possible.

QUOTE(thelightside @ Nov 27 2014, 11:22 AM) I think the iPhone has a better camera. Indoor pictures turns out gloomy and the hdr indoor is not as good as I thought it would be. Sometimes when taking picture near the focus. It will focus the object not the forces I manual focus it on. Like last night, took my wife photo but my wife is blurry and not focused but the ice cream beside her is super clear. Anyone had this issue before? |

QUOTE(bysquashy @ Nov 27 2014, 05:04 PM) Note 4 has the best battery life according to a test done by Tech Columnist This article is clearly one sided. Truth be told, the iPhone 6 battery is among the best. No doubt you can go full without any problem. Order in which the phones' batteries died: 1. iPhone 5S 2. iPhone 6 3. HTC One M8 4. iPhone 6 Plus 5. Huawei Mate 7 6. Huawei Vodaphone 7. Samsung Galaxy S5 8. Samsung Galaxy Note4 (SM-N910G Quad-core 2.7 GHz Krait 450C) http://aca.ninemsn.com.au/article/8932913/...ave-your-sanity |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Nov 27 2014, 05:52 PM) I strongly disagree with this test report. It doesn't even state under what conditions was the phones tested your ip6+ is straight out of the box or you have modded it? i wanted to root my n4 but afraid of voiding the warranty. and something about the samsung knox? My personal experience with 80% on internet stuffs ( browsing, email, RSS, whatsapp, tweeter), ebooks n some YouTube videos Note 4 : SOT 6-7 hours Mate 7 : SOT 9-10 hours Ip6+ : usage 11-12 hours |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Nov 27 2014, 08:03 PM) How to mod ip6 ? Is not android!! really jealous with the 6+, super battery life. samsung came out with great feature like the s pen but with crappy battery life Out of box since day one till now battery life is excellent. Some users even reported 12-14 hours I need not do any tweaks. In standby mode , battery level literally doesn't drop at all. The only impressive stuff of ip6+ vs Note4 Those here who owns both ip6+ ( not ip6) n Note4 will confirm ip6+ battery is way much better than Note4 With similar usage I only need to charge my ip6+ once every 2+ days while Note4 I'd need to charge it every day |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Nov 27 2014, 08:43 PM) I wont say Note 4 has crappy battery life - what do you expect from a phone with 2K display ? 6-7 hours SOT for me is already very good. My previous 2K display phone Find 7 only 3-3.5 hours SOT only no doubt the note 4 is a great phone, almost completely replace my pc for light work But Note 4 personally I feel is a way much better and functional phone vs ip6+. Anyway ip6+ file restrictive system is just unsuitable for me. It is so troublesome to locate files, manage files on phone itself , emailing with multiple attachments and very poor sharing info from FB, RSS, Tweeter, Newsfeed. I had given it up and will pass it down to one of my family members for general usage QUOTE(waveweaver @ Nov 27 2014, 08:49 PM) that is ridiculous. i have it with a case. might scratch the metal bezel QUOTE(dlsl @ Nov 27 2014, 08:52 PM) As reported in xda, all note 4 use sony sensor. old version of firmware is still showing isocell sensor in isp version. New version firmware already clean up unused kernel code and show proper isp version which is sony sensor. true. we all will never be satisfied ,especially me hahaNote 4 battery life may not be the best but it is good enough. Based on my own experience/usage pattern, note 4 battery life is as good as note 3 if not better. Besides that, note 4 sport a QHD screen which is almost double the resolution vs iphone 6 plus or note 3. |

QUOTE(ahtom82 @ Nov 28 2014, 09:21 AM) Hmm, confirm that snapdragon is better than Exynos? I read many websites saying Exynos is faster and some say is blazing fast?!? Front what I've read. Both exynos and SD has it's own adv and disv. With little difference. While as for user. Some say SD is smooth for games others say exynos. I think it won't affect too much. |
