Maybe software problem.You can try to ask SC to reflash the software. Mine have lag previously and they fix it by tweaking and reflash the firmware.

Maybe you can remove the old one and re add new fingerprint. Update me.

The unit i borrowed is CDMA version. Cannot main-main flash one.

For 1 hand scanning still a problem. Still need to use two hands but still secure than PIN or pattern. iPhone bought a company for that kind of fingerprint scanner so that other people cannot use it. That's why it is available only on the iPhone and I can say that their implementation is really good. Hope Synaptics will solve the fingerprint scanner like iPhone.

Oh sorry. Did not read ur previous post. So it is a S805 Note 4? Maybe you can try reformat phone? Is it good compared with Exynos one?

It should not pose any problem, since all these devices are at 5V.

I never tried Exynos version, so i can't say which is better but definitely hands up for S805 when it comes to gaming.

But let it be. Today is my last day using it, so i can't reset the phone as i unlocked the carrier. Resetting might cause my work goes poof.

Yeah.
Anyway, somehow if compared to Z Ultra, i still love my Z Ultra. It launches app faster than note 4 and smoother.
The only thing i like about note 4 is, touchwiz is 'slimmer' and the S Pen is improved a lot than previous generations. Note jotting can be done in a few seconds with note 4 as it tracks my handwriting well, especially in doctor's style.

The Sketch app by Sony is good and simple to use but a non digitized stylus is not my cup of tea in note jotting because tracking is poor if compared to digitized stylus. So hands down for Sony at this part.

Sony software is the best after Z series. Quite fast in everything. Before Z series a disaster. Previously owned Xperia S. The worst phone ever made. Always lags and app crashes. But when hold the Z3 last week, a lot of improvements. And nice design too.

But after started using Note 2 from my father, really change my perspective about Samsung. Really amazing screen and its S Pen. I previously dislike Samsung because of TouchWiz and its design. Then I use Note 3, the best phone ever. The S Pen is still more accurate than the Note 2 and always use it for writing notes. The best decision I have ever made. That is why after Note 4 is out I immediately bought it because of More sensitive S Pen and its best display.

google oppo n3, they put the fingerprint scanner at back of phone just like heart rate sensor on latest samsung s/note series,and it's just work like iphone scanner... tap and scan.

Among all the stock UI I've used I liked HTC's implementation best, looks really good with useful add-ons yet speedy. Current touchwiz UI is second.


Huawei's Mate 7 does that too, apparently according to reviews its comparable in speed and accuracy to the iPhone's sensor.
