Didn't want something too big or the modulo duck lip spoiler since I'm not adding any bodykit to my car. Yet, i want something sporty just to enhance the look. The guy from Triple L recommended the BMW type mini spoiler. Looks good enough and i requested him to add a red stripe just to sweeten the deal and keeping with my Black/red motive of the car. Now if i can just make my dashboard glow red instead of Blue... perfecto!

whats difference btwn 2014 and 2015 model?

dear host... what locks you would recommend?

a) the gear lock?
b) the brake locks?
c) saw ur speed lock.. how it fucntions?

will it void the warranty ? for both city and/or civic? coz it requires drilling into the lower part of gear and pedal if not mistaken

about the locktech, it is a mobile product? will it be a big sized and hard to put away? coz used gear lock which is embedded only key hole is visible..

Installed this a week back, very handy, unlike stereng lock which is kinda hassle.

By the way guys, normally if you get into the car, do you straight away start the engine and move the car? my cousin says have to actually twist half of the key, wait for certain lights to go off at the dash board, and then only twist the key until the engine starts, anyone else practice this?

I think what he meant is the Press-Brake-To-Lock, which is a very useful stock feature found in MyVI.
Press the brake, and doors will lock. If I brake, unlock doors manually, let go of brake, then brake again, doors will auto-lock again, all while engine is still running.

This is unlike City plug-n-play OBD that will lock doors either shift to D or speed-type. But when doors are unlock manually, OBD will not lock doors again unless engine is restarted.

has any city owners trigger the air bag to be activated thus far in Msia? photos of the after math if possible...

or any good Samaritan can afford to activate the air bags to see the result of the air bags?

you can call Honda and discuss this matter with them
but i can guarantee they will tell you your car is not affected by this issue
if you still don't believe them then either you can pay them to remove the airbag or sell the car
then avoid the following brand next time:
Acura, BMW, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, Honda, Infiniti, Lexus, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Pontiac, Saab, Subaru and Toyota

i think the workshop at outside will do it if you pay them

Depends on which car. Is the same if the quality is not good for the material used.

Wanna ask...any City v spec here? how to clean those sticker marks on aircon touch screen ? I use a bit cif to clean our. ....but now my screen look a bit like minor scratches =.=.....can I use toothtip remove it ?

1) Stop car at traffic light, suddenly the engine die off. Encounter these issue for 3 times.

2) driving back from johor to kota tinggi, suddenly the car "chok chok ", losing power, and the engine die off during driving. Try to start back, but die off immediately.
Tow back to service centre, and can start again.

3) during speeding or low speed (60 km / j) , sometime the car "chok chok ". Some time I feel that the car got power, sometime really low power .

The worst thing is, there is no error code when checking using Computer.

Any advice ?

May I ask some suggestions and opinions from you regarding my question below?

I went to Honda Dealer at Bangi (Near warta) and met one of their SA.

After about 1 hour discussing regarding the price, here what I can conclude
Honda City V Spec ( OTR: RM90,800)

Down Payment 10% = (RM9,100)
Loan = RM 81,700
9 Yrs loan x 2.6% (Maybank) = RM 933 monthly

(Rebate/Discount = RM2k)

Honda City E Spec (OTR: 83,800)

Down Payment 10% = (RM 8,400)
Loan = RM 74,400
9 Yrs loan x 2.6% (Maybank) = RM 861 monthly

For both spec above also, I also going to include
Bodykit RM = 3,200
Tinted RM = 2,200

I have enough down payment cash to pay for both type but I still can't decide to go V spec or E spec. Atm, I'm saving another RM6k for bodykit and tinted. Did the price for bodykit and tinted are reasonable? I never dealing this thing before. FYI, this is my first car after 5 years using my dad car and now plan to buy for me and my future family. With my current job and pay it should be no problem since my budget is below rm1k.

I also did alot research (carbase review, paultan and etc), I notice that most ppl choose Honda City for budget below rm1k. Should I go for E spec or V. Im currently attracted to the extra feature and accesories for V spec but I know 80% of the spec from V spec can be implemented at E spec. In the end, the upgrade cost for E spec to become similar like Vspec almost rm7k also according to my SA.

What do you think? Can enlighten me some opinion and suggestion? Anyone know which honda city dealer can get more rebate/discount and cheaper bodykit(original) and tinted?
