Anyway, it is still make the paint thinner than original. Better save the cost and do repaint after the color become dull.
*
FYI, the paint itself won't get thinner, as it is not the top layer (DO YOU EVEN KNOW THIS ?)
the paint (color) is sandwiched between base and clear coat, clear coat makes your car shines, not the paint

Whether is ANTI DUST or not you try you will know. Different people have different perspective on coating. My driver had tested his car and after 1 year start to accumulate dirty marks on the surface and at the end of the day caused the paint peel off. Hence, the verdict is whether good or not only YOU will justify it.
*
"after 1 year", lolol
does your "driver" know that a decent coating requires regular maintenance (for example, 3 months, 6 months) ?

*

Im undecided between v spec and e spec... any advise?
*
6 airbags, cruise control, 16 inch sport rims, fog lights, touch screen HU, 8 speakers (tweeters + mids) for Vs

if you're just buying it for normal uses, or don't want to add your personal touch on the car, then V spec is your choice, if you want to modify it, just get E, downside is, you don't get 6 airbags, and cruise control, the rest, can always add them in with aftermarket products

*
off the engine, take out that little piece of plastic cover, slot in a key, you'll hear a "click", then, can shift to N

guys i just got my v spec city last friday and today i drove it out the first time under the rain, when i reach home, i notice that the headlamps glass got condensation (water vapour/ wap air)?
after an hour, the water vapour patch becomes smaller.

is it normal or?
*
quite normal, but if it happens frequently, you might wanna have it check by sc

Last week i walked in, one malay guy SA insisted to give me 500+500+half tank only, very pissed off.

My friend told me some SA allow us to purchase our own insurance, is that true ?

Coz i am an insurance agent, dont want let them earn the commision for which i can discount for myself  tongue.gif

the question will be, do you prefer to pay more and be reimburse 100% (in case of any accident) for the first 5 years or pay less ?

So, in this case, any owners here subscribed to be the HIP member here?
Or u guys just renew the insurance purchased from Honda dealers as normal?
It seems like we need to pay more to become the HIP member, am i right ?
*
HIP packages seems to be more expensive than the normal ones on the market, most owner just renew their insurance with the sa they bought their car from, i myself haven't renew the insurance, but i guess you can deal directly to the insurance company's office and don't have to go through sa

Good idea, but those 5 insurance companies not so famous for smooth car claims and panel workshops...
Usually people buy from AXA, Alliance, AIA etc....right?
My personal claim experience from Etiqa took me 6 weeks to repair my Myvi bonet...  vmad.gif  mad.gif
*
alliance ?
you meant Allianz (?)
no use 1 la, took them 9 months to complete the claim on my previous viva, after done, a bunch of missing parts, complain to their office, no action taken

Just wondering,

When we go service our car , does the SC wash our car ? or just purely service...
..
*
some do, some don't, better to not let sc wash it, or else, your car will end up with a lot of swirl marks and hologram

QUOTE(ericltkong @ May 6 2015, 11:37 PM)
This may sound weird but actually, is it advisable to do both detailing and coating as soon as we get the car?
*
a proper coating can actually preserve your car's paint, but they don't come cheap
