Different outlet carries different HU that's not been included by the main honda SC. One can claim warranty from another SC that they didn't buy the car from. They will just inform it's wiring problem.

Don't bother asking SA about warranty claims, take some time to talk to those who's in the warranty claim department

How about the insurance renewal? Insured only RM65k?

The problem is some outlet built the warranty claim department far far inside the workshop and unauthorized personnel unable to enter that place. As a result, the sole responsibility for the judgment will be depends on the technician.

Well then, now u know it doesn't affect the warranty. Ur not claiming for the HU but the wiring so it's completely different.

I drive a hybrid and changing the HU which requires wiring cutting will affect my wiring warrant as well as the hybrid battery which costs a bomb that's why I asked thoroughly.

Perhaps need to keep your original HU to ensure it is claimable. They will place a marking on each element which go haywire and later shown you the bills for the replacement. Whether hybrid or not is subject to their judgment.

Wiring problem means wiring problem la, u won't get to change a brand new HU due to wiring problem la. Any as there's no wiring cutting for the HU then it won't be a problem. Go consult them if u need more clarification

when dealer take 65k they will adjust it from 70k to 75k..so new buyer will cover insurance for 75k..

just went sri utama in setapak...got waiting area but i dont think you can see ur car since the factory is very big....
