btw guys, did you check your wipers recently? There's a screw cover at the base of the wiper...that little thingy stolen from my wife's car....according to Honda SC, it's very common because that part dunno fit where on a motorbike....

It's called expansion tank for a reason. That's why u keep the water in between the min and max level and not fill up till overflowing.

to my surprised the new city, coolant in reserve tank dry out quite fast. Check every once a month.

Top up the coolant to the Max line when engine is cold ( like in the morning before the first engine start of the day).
When engine hot, the coolant will be at above Max line which is correct.

Hi all.

Did you all encountered any problem with new honda city 2014 so far?

I just got my new car last Saturday. But having so much issue and was sent back to service centre for checking now.

1) Stop car at traffic light, suddenly the engine die off. Encounter these issue for 3 times.

2) driving back from johor to kota tinggi, suddenly the car "chok chok ", losing power, and the engine die off during driving. Try to start back, but die off immediately.
Tow back to service centre, and can start again.

3) during speeding or low speed (60 km / j) , sometime the car "chok chok ". Some time I feel that the car got power, sometime really low power .

The worst thing is, there is no error code when checking using Computer.

Any advice ?

Guys, how much it usually cost for 10,000km service? I just kena rm315! Bloody expensive. Is this normal?

Not true.  Nowadays new Engine oil are improving a lot. Honda is one of the main advocate for using lighter engine oil. The city just have a 1.5l engine. 0w20 is just fine and improved fuel efficency.
I use 0w20 in City and 0w30 in my 2.0 Inspira.

Just did my 10k km service on the weekend. Got charged RM282.xx for the service. Considered normal? They gave me the 0-20W engine oil.

just in case u r wondering the cause of the loud rain drop noise

This morning i was fetching my wife and when i stopped at the hilly junction toyota afanza in front of my car suddenly reversing unintentionally and hitting my front bumper, small gap was there between bumper and main light. What can i do? do i need to send my car to honda SC?

Why so? Did he give any reason for it?

Mine is V spec. Is any one know the car rear boot is able to open if we stop at traffic light or jam? It is very dangerous if we put valuable items in there, so someone can steel it easily by pressing the button & open boot. If we lock it ( centre locking) manually, it is still can open or not?

my 10k car services will be in due by next week but my mileage still only about 7k+

if let's say im going to service my car only when i touch 10k mileage (in this case maybe another few months), is there any warranty void or effect?
