its juz the normal defect on headphones when u 1st got it like driver probs and craftmanship i think... but dat case r really rare unless u r 1 unlucky guy....
n after dat if u take good care of it n pamper it like ur baby it shouldnt be a problem... mayb u wont even need the warranty...

i think its replaceable but i havent saw anyone selling replacements 4 AD series yet... mayb need 2 ask 1st b4 assuming...

AD700 pads should be sponge/velour.... and can check bluetin.com for pads replacement....they should have a few different models

AD700 is velour pad just like ad900 pads.

i've checked bluetin n the only replacement pads r at japan store n stated 4 AD2000... dunno if it's the same...
but if it can be use it's gonna cost more than RM250

is M50's earpad something similar like FC700's earpad?

velour pad is like what? so far no AD series user change their pad or what? its sound impossible..

hi guys referred to last post found that someone ask about the ESW9 Le Luxe authenticity.

I bought it last 2 weeks in singapore when i stop over there for 2 days after return from perth.

I don't really know about it online price coz i dont really look into it...but I went to this shop in Causeway Point Woodlands-Stereo Electronic..they have a few range and type of headphones.from kid's to audiophiles.

so i pick a few type to try like AKG,Audio Tech,Jays and few others.

so i found that i like this ESW9 and i also try that esw10 limited edition.
at last stick with this esw9 and pay for it at S$375.
I don't know if its expensive or not but I can assure that this shop is not selling fake stuff.

Stereo's a very well-known headphile shop in SG. I'm pretty sure they don't sell fakes according to my SG friends

may i know how is M50 performance, and also the price.thanks

it's more 2 a very balanced cans but there's nothing special so IMO it sounded more flat... a lil uncomfortable 2 me... 1 hour r the longest 4 me...
newbie like me will usually be impressed with the sound but since ur quite experienced in this field i think u would know dat there r something a lil better than this... coz IMO it didnt really justify the price tag of RM700++ in malaysia but if u can get it around RM500-RM600 then dat would be juz the right price 4 it where other countries r selling within that price range...

so M50 wasn't comfortable to wear?

dat is juz my experience... it's up 2 the user actually....

not impossible. because it not easy to thorn as it is built by cotton in the first place.
unlike epi leather or half real leather, when it its thorn, left the cotton inside.. then u MUST change already or not u just getting different sound signature.

if you very like muddy bass then M50 is good enough.

I found an rm700+ cans getting that type of signature is wasteful after i heard it.

only bass is good. but how good ? flat bass, quite like ah beng bass.
the bass produced covered all the detail already.

hmmm.. i guess thats right.. valour and leather pad is for different kind of signature.. leather is for closed can to absorb extra bass produced.. and valour for opened can..
