Fiio E5 those suitable for IEM, tried it with M50 doesn't have any significant change.

I do try to pair E5 with AD700 & MS1. The change in AD700 is more significant than in MS1. biggrin.gif

Hi neo,

HA INFO NG27 suit your taste as well. I using it personally. It pair with the opa627 which give a smooth and warm sounding. I pair it together with my s530D and pk3 and it do make the sounding warmer and improve bass quality. Like it very much. laugh.gif

have to buy extension if it cant fit in , no choice ... just purchase this usb external card ... hey , you said so long but never mention about the price for AD900 bulk ... wat is the price first ? might give up ad700 , aim ad900 .
*
Last time i spend Rm35 to buy a cheap sonic gear extension because can't find other model unless you ask people to customized one for you. The cost for sure is higher than Rm35. cry.gif

Must have at least a group ppl like 3 or 5 ppl then i only quote the price, otherwise how the seller going to quote me the price. Those interested just let me know the i will put in the name into the list. once there are either 3 or 5 interested i will go to quote the price already.

So let start here.

AD900 interested buyer:

The price for AD900 is much expensive than the price offer by yuheng. Even your A900 also more expensive already. Yuheng and walabies selling both AD900 and A900 for RM820 only. Why you don't want get from them directly? hmm.gif

I know and i never blame the distributor for selling at such pricing as the tax is relatively high in Malaysia.

However as a consumer, we always find different source to get the lowest price for the our purchase. icon_rolleyes.gif

A Real Bargain and an A.T. Winner!, June 18, 2009
By  J. Kaufman "Vinyl Junkie" (SF East Bay)

Very musical with a linear frequency response to my ears. Sound is full with excellent bottom end (though could be a tad bit tighter). Silky smooth mid - range. Inner detail and soundstaging are decent though could be better. It really can't be faulted though at this price point. Overall sound is non - fatiguing for long listening sessions (the ear pads sit on the ear and do become annoying after awhile), although I did notice some bottom end clipping at higher volume levels on my ipod. I ended up purchasing a pair of Denon AH-D 1001's (and gave my 18y.o. son the A.T.'s who feels that they devour his Sennheiser PX 100's) because aside from a being more comfortable fit (goes around rather than on the ear) the inner detail, imaging and bottom end are far superior. But the Denons are also twice the price. I have to give the A.T.'s the edge in the mid range and could have easily lived with the ATH-FC700ABK's if the Denons weren't an option.

Too bad that AD900 already fill up the space of my heart right now. drool.gif

If you are looking for a awesome dac+amp combo, HA INFO NG27 is a good choice at cheaper price. Try to see the spec, material and the opamp use, then you will get a briefly idea how is the quality of the amp. icon_rolleyes.gif

The only downside for it is that it need adapter to powered and not so suitable for portable. However, it won't be a problem if we are using it in house right? I also using the ng27 with my laptop in those wifi coffee house, such as the starbucks, oldwtown since they do ready a power supply for us. tongue.gif

Yup. Because ATH headphone won't improve much using amp, dac would be better. I owned a A500 before, i can say amp is useless to it. I plug the headphone directly to the DAC output, it is the same out from the amp.
*
Actually i agree that we can drive ATH can without an amp. However, i don't agree that ATH headphone won't improve much using an amp. To my ears, AD700 do have improvement even i drive it with a small E5. When you pair with other dac+ amp such as the boa, ng27 or secret amp, the AD700 performance will be greater than ampless. By compare side by side, AD700 do get better improvement than MS1 when they both are pair with amp.
