new owner of M-50 and FC700 joining here

I juz got it bout a week ago and both of them havent reached 30hours yet...
For me M50 really suits my taste and its really worth of every penny i paid. I owned SHP2700 b4 and i thought wat 4 paying high price 4 headphones but now i know why
FC700 also impressed me coz for the price its also 4 me a good value. The clarity, mids and bass are very good. It's juz the highs sometimes can sound messy. The can also looks very cool but as a street can i think they should include a case for it.
All of this are juz my opinion n im not a pro sorry if my comments doesnt help much. U should try it 1st b4 deciding coz not everybody got the same listening preferences...

Added on June 26, 2009, 3:08 amI got one question since using those 2 cans i notice there's a small popping sounds i can hear when listening 2 music on my laptop.
I never heard of it b4 with my philips, it sounds like circuitry leak and when i tried listening with my handphone everything is smooth and clear.
Is it because of my source or any of you guyz experienced it b4? Will it have any side effects on the cans if i continue with it?

Yeah i tried with my phone and dat sound are totally lost. So now i seldom using my laptop coz afraid sumthing will happen 2 my babies
Waiting 2 get my mp3 player in the next few weeks which will be my main source of music in the future..

I've checked dat no case available at all for these. If not i ad bought it along. I think it's up to the users 2 use their creativities 2 get other alternatives for pouch. I prefer the FC700 while on the go coz M50 feels heavy on my head.

I'm not really into earphone so can't really reccommend u anything but i think rm129 4 CKM30 is quite cheap ad and AT products are quite rare at shops if im not mistaken (coz im not from KL). Or you can try ask forummer here walabies 4 reccommendation and he's selling ATH-CKM50 4 rm180

Well i never tried ES5 but i own FC700 n i think most of AT low ends r quite the same n i think the treble can reach a point where it can sound unpleasant, the bass r not 2 much, its juz nice n quite accurate. The strongest point r the clarity. From ur budget, i reccommend u 2 go 4 ATH-M30 coz from wat i heard its quite balanced n its the little brother of M50 which i owned.

not sure if the flat surfaced type r easy 2 find here, if u wanna go 4 ES7 then get ready 2 fork out around RM700 or the cheapest n still consider easy option r from bluetin.com 4 around RM600..

costs about RM190 from bluetin.com

dat is definitely a fake coz i kena once 2 help my friend buying a headphone... he chose pioneer HDJ1000 4 RM70 i've seen it in webs but never bother bout it dats why we didnt thought it was fake even when i asked bout the warranty n he said its 1 week personal i dont know why i still didnt felt suspicious... after we bought n i tested it... the sound was terrible then i researched bout it n its a guaranteed fake...

AD series are open type headphones... FYI there is A series for closed type... M30 and FC700 falls in closed type category...

i thought FC700 r supraaural coz doesnt full cover my ear...

yup it depends on the user... rite now its juz bcoz i can wear my FC700 longer than my M50...
but still there is a thing about the supraaural's after a period of time coz its like clipping ur ears n making a slight feel of pain there...
i'm not saying dat circumaural r uncomfortable its juz the M50 or perhaps M30 2 got dat head gripping issues dat makes me feel FC700 r more comfortable...
In my opinion 4 now my Philips SHP2700 r the most comfortable headphone i had rite now..
My next target probably would be something like A or AD series....

really where did u saw it in sabah coz i never knew there were shops selling it in sabah....
and better becareful 2 coz pro700 ad got fake ones FYI...
i can reccomend u bluetin.com if u willing 2 buy online...
i bought my M50 4 less than RM500 not including postage altogetehr shouldnt be more than RM600...
PRO700 pretty much around the same price but i think M50 r not available ad PRO700 i think they still sell

if u like more bass... i think FC700 wont suit u...

can u tell me where n which shop selling it? is it an audio shop or really a shop dat sells a lot of AT products or juz normal computer accesories shop?
i'm juz curios coz i've kena once when helping my friend buy at karamunsing lucky its not dat expensive...
but i felt guilty coz made his 1st experience on bying headphones a bad one...

if it's gold plug then definitely fake... other thing r no Audio Technica logo on the headband n spelling mistakes on the box...
even selling it 4 rm780 r really crazy!! the headphone dat my friend bought r the pioneer's lucky it's only 4 60 bucks...
