can someone please enlighten me abt the download speeds of p2p and after the 3gb limit, wat exactly do they do? suspend or charge extra? thx.

wierd...im here at bandar country homes near my house when checked with my mom's SOnyEricsson z610 has no 3G at all.

yet im posting here using UMTS connection with my current download speed is 23kbps

yesterday a techinician come over to my house around 3pm and do some signal reading and testing the speed but at the end my disconnection problem was still not solve.. and the guy say that i can cancel my subscription even the contract is not full becoz he had come over perform testing.....

from ampang here... all 3g user here got 3.5g connection.. but still crawling... my old streamyx farrrrrrrrrrrr more better. dont even think on9 gaming & p2p..

I'm Penang maxis BB subscriber since early this year, no problem for me to surf net as my area is 3G coverage area, now plan to try to setup an IP camera via maxis modem ZTE MF600 incorporate with a router. Anyway i read b4 that the maxis modem actually IS a router by itself! so, below is my settings configuration ..........

1. Set my computer ip addresses within 192.168.0.x (but not 1 lah)
255.255.255.0, 192.168.0.1

2. Failed to online if hook up network cable (RJ45) from ZTE MF600 modem to WAN port of my router, Only able to online if i connect to LAN port of my wireless router. Why? Is't due to maxis is a router by itself? Any settings required in order to connect to WAN port of my wireless router? .....

3. Port forwarding not function as "no WAN connection found" message pop up when wanna launch connection to DDNS from my router even i registered DNS account in www.dyndns.com. My question is if the Maxis modem (MF600) have router, how can i do port forward to enable ip camera is connectable over internet??? Thanks!

Not an alternatif to streamyx la.. As it's super slow one..I just wish that one day there will be direct fair competitor to streamyx

streamyx have 4mbps already, but cost a bomb.

which package you signup ??? 384 kbps or 768 kbps ???

if u signup for 384 kbps, for sure you cannot play online game.

for termination of the service, when you sign the maxis broadband contract, it tide you for 18 months, so.... you just less out how many month you used the service (eg. 3 months service used, 18 months - 3 months = 15 months need to pay)

anyone receive call from Broadband company to update firmware for modem?
