the maxis agent never answer my call
when i call to maxis hotline thehy ask u to refer to this stupid agent
& the officers always give me the different answer, one time, she told me the registration is ready & the technician will call u this afternoon.............until 2 days already no one call me about this & i call back, the other officer, told me your registration is not ready


do not undetstand what happen to this maxis broadband?
i think i will cancel this trial end of this month if no one answer my call

I tell u setapak here also cant connect to p2p program such as ares. This really sucks. Streamyx still better than maxis. My friends all using p2p program and all going fine. This is stupid. Hostel dont allow to have streamyx so good if streamyx have wireless broadband. That wil be cool i tell u

Maxis is not a good company. Reason? The technician came to my house to install the 3G broadband. (I was not at home.my parents are.) He said my area no coverage so he took back the modem. (i checked before i sign up and my area has coverage.) I thought the deal was over since i technically gave back the modem. After 1 month, a bill came. i was furious. i went to maxis centre to complain. i said i didn't get modem so i thought it was canceled since the modem was not with me until trial period over. Then one month later, another bill came. Over RM2000 with RM800+ cancellation fees. I went to maxis centre again. this time repeated same story but with a firm request that i do not want to see a bill again.she said any bills after this can be ignored since she zeroed all my account. Now another bill comes along with RM1100+ baki tertunggak. i chose to ignore this bill as i have nothing to say anymore.maxis is b****y rich from charging so much from their handphone business and still they want to strangle me some more. the government should tax them more so that they can't boast that they have 2 billion in illgotten profits.the money should be used properly in other ways such as increasing the police's salary so that evil entities like them are kept in the slammers.

cause by using the trial for more than 1 month, means u agreed the 18months agreement. so if u terminate before the 18months contract finish, then u have to pay the balance also.. contract is contract, so it is not wrong if they charge u the balance as cancellation. as to why streamyx didn't charge u any cancellation fees, that 1 i no comment.



i'm at setapak too, but my p2p program is working fine.. it is slow during the day cause of the throttling(streamyx too) but from 1am onwards, the throttling will be removed, until morning dunno what hour.. try your p2p programs again after 1am in the morning, it should work..

bro, i applied the maxis 3G on 25th Feb, today only i get the technician to install for me 2 hours ago......

so, in my case, i applied on 17/3/07, then only can get the technician to install around 17/5/07? Still have to wait 2 to 3 weeks?

The word 'install' should be replaced by 'deliver' instead, since the 'installer' virtually don't need to set up anything except for some hardware testing and software configurations.

Maybe it depends on your agent. I had to wait about 2 month after I register.

Anyway, just want to know, what is the difference between wdmasomething connection and umts? Cos it seems like umts connection is qiute good. And with wdmasomething, I occatianally got DC.

I called to maxis to 2x confirm, they said MAXIS did not call anyone to give the IMEI number or anything to do with the modem.

There is something fisshy here. If anyone has any idea about this, please post.

However, my home is on 8th floor, when i told the technician that my place is at 8th floor, he refused to "install" for me,he said it will cannot get the signal, then i told him it is ok cause it was the Maxis guy taught me to write the ground floor address for installation and then when installation time, just shift the modem to 8th floor and use it. I asked him to try and see how first, then he came to my place at 8th floor, he took out his 6670 and check the 3G signal there, he surprisingly said that the signal is 80 something which is quite same as the singal for ground area of 90 something. and now...i am using it on 8th floor lorr.... but BT is suck.......!!

huh? use 6670 to check 3G signal?? if really use 6670 then sure cannot get wor cause 6670 doesn't support 3G.. i got mine 2 weeks after i apply, now entering my 3rd month of usage already, and the technician used his 6680 to check, my area here in setapak is full signal strength..

i also use at 8th floor ma in my fren house. no problem

I even use at berjaya time square 18th floor. no problem also.

They bullshit you only.

If everybody use at high rise they will be not enough signal to supply the ground gua

BT only starts from 1AM onwards till 7AM daily.. any other time, crawling..
