You just need to set the connection type to "Automatic Configuration - DHCP" instead of PPPOE. Btw, I'm using the DD-WRT firmware

For those who said this modem can be use with router. What is the user login password? As I  can see its only 3 digits or 3 character. But the username is maxis.

guys, im facing some minor problem with the 3gb thingy. I am connected but i cant access to sites... what's the problem? i've check the RSSI its on and normal... =/

i use a proxy to bypass then no problem.

if u guys use friendster, can use see the pictures? sometimes can sometimes cannot.

when cannot, can use a proxy to bypass maxis.

go google for proxy. and insert the proxy name in ur browser's connection. make sure the port number is correct.

now.. anyone experiencing bt capping? mine kena cap liao at 30kbps

What's with the rm188 installation Fees?
what do they install for u?
If use the free trial 30 days also need 188?

remember to argue this:

- is ur installation date same as billing date?
installation date shud be much later than the billing date so can save some ringgits.

I called to maxis to 2x confirm, they said MAXIS did not call anyone to give the IMEI number or anything to do with the modem.

There is something fisshy here. If anyone has any idea about this, please post.

Anyone having billing issue on this Maxis wireless service? I've been barred for not clearing the bill after subscribing for the first 2 months. Now it's more than another month after clearing the bill, I have the feeling that I'll will not receive my bill again. Did anyone here having the same issue as mine?
BTW, I did go to the maxis center yesterday which having the payment machine, I tried to key in the mobile no. 017-xxxxxx and check whether can check my outstanding payment or not. It showed that I have RM85 outstanding payment. Is it my wireless service outstanding bill? If yes, why is it RM85 & not RM 68? Can anyone give some comment? thanks.

I have no problem with mine today. You better call Maxis Center to check it out.
