Lol the patch actually made upgrading the exotics so damn easy now, too easy in fact, only need 1 exo shard for that one last upgrade node.

Its best to keep some marks for next week since there will be new vanguard and crucible gears available on the expansion.

Really that easy? i find that its still the same. It just delaying your time to max it out if you do not have the exotic shard at hand.

So far everyone seems happy with the patch. I for one am definitely very happy that we are now able to spend marks to buy materials. But damn I really should've fully upgraded them exotics instead of leaving them to rot in vault, now must wait until Friday only can fully upgrade

Vex mythoclast looks damn sexy now with 323 damage, can't wait to have mine fully upgraded. I just hope all these exotics will still be good for when new DLC is out.

Edit: question, what do we do with ascendant shards/energy now?

I think ascendant mats should be for legendary items only

ascendant shards and energy are for legendary gears. Exotic will have their own items.

aih.. itchy finger go dismantle exotic last nite.. didn't expect this exotic shard thingy..

People are already dismantling duplicates exotics before this so yeah not really that hard (you only need 1), and now there's a reason to repeat the exotic bounty if you are short on SC, super good advice is super easy to do .
Now that they reduce the need to farm so much its time to focus on game content to add in more action to the game , wishing they will add customisable horde mode to the game for fireteam of 3 and 6.
