No probs bro. Im glad u can "tahan" my merapu style of playing. Haha

Our method last night was:
- We all went below and stayed on the right side together
- Hid behind pillar to avoid Templar
- Our relic holder killed most of the Harpies to get super quickly
- Don't die I was the quickest to die most of the time!

1st run took us about 3 tries to get past the Templar, 2nd run took us about 8 or 9 tries. One thing's for sure is that Gjallarhorn is not as effective against the Templar compared to Atheon. We used Ice Breaker all the way.

Your video is another method, which you have to take down the oracles as quickly as possible and the relic holder cannot die - a do or die but safest method.

Since SecrET_of_RainBOw got the helmet so obviously finished HM... maybe you can share your strategy during templar?

First try we did the 'all to the right platform' strategy and didn't manage to bring Templar down. Then 1 of our team members came up with the 3 a side plan where 3 person will be on the left and 2 will be on the right while relic holder will be taking care of harpies, we did it in 1 try. Important things is you need to take care of all the oracles to avoid being marked and the rest is just taking down the aethon. Don't need to wait for cleanse as you won't be marked, relic releases super when the oracle is down and bam, you are good to go. 1 thing I find is a good Strategy is you release both of your rocket launchers and switch straight to your sniper. If you are lucky you could snipe him a good 4-5 extra shots.

yup Gjallarhorn not as effective. I even blew up myself in detain shield (forgot about it )

Will try this method next week. Or will we even go to the VOG after this since the new DLC is here

tried all 3 methods above. we still failed. 1 time we only left 1/3 but he enraged

Best way to beat Templar is by offering your blood, works well !

My team try this method yesterday, the different is ONLY the relic holder is going below,

the relic holder should destroy the far back left/right oracle and the rest is for the teammates to destroy,

by eliminating cleanse we can save a lot of time to dps the boss, but this method hinges on the relic

holder's speed and survivability. We kill the templar before he's enrage.


I suppose camping at the right confluxe IS better strategies especially if you got multiple titan defender

and just maintained the bubble by eating each other orbs, or just camp in the cave while waiting for relic

super to charge.


Hopefully you succeed on the next run.

My team camping.at right side with ice breaker + wol buff ignore the oracle just shoot as many u can see

Btw, you guys managed to wield the Sword of Crota on elsewhere beside on the moon mission?

Last night was doing patrol on earth, then got this message "Sword of Crota is invading"

I tried to look around try to find the usual daily event marker, but non
then thinking it's random elsewhere on map, so carry on with my mission

since I got the kill 10 Hive major bounty, so went into the subway station entrance on the left of the earth patrol starting point.

Went in, and at the staircase got whack instantly and almost drop my controller after seeing a huge yellow bar knight wielding a big sword is coming after me, even chase me up the stairs with few of his yellow bar goons as well

Emptied few clips on him and finally took him down, and walah! Sword of Crota is there for you to take

clear the room with the sword, but the sword only lasted few minutes only, then it's gone.

would be nice if we can use the sword in some of the game mission

I got the sword of crota from patroling the cosmodrome. Do you realize that it has become easier to get materials during patrol mission?
